Nice score on the SS!
Sounds like Hawkler is a bit of a tough find these days. When I bought mine back in 2005 (you can read my post at the beginning of this thread). A number of them surfaced on Ebay on damaged cards.

Thanks! Yeah, it seems like when they do come up, they are dirty, have loose legs or are missing parts. (or are drastically overpriced. I got this Northlord SS for $79, which isn't bad considering everything works great and the legs are nice and tight, there's no paint rubs on his body, etc. I know Ogre King and YMT shield shooters will be tough, but Hawkler is the figure that just keeps evading me.

The problem with buying my Hawkler MOC was when I opened him, he had that stickiness all over him like some carded figures get from the plastic breaking down. Washed him with allot of soapy water and it seemed to take it away. Haven't checked him since then though if the stickiness is still gone.

Here's some uber rare items: 1) Pulvereye custom -- made by Godbeast. Not a proto but looks good with them:) 2) Skylla proto 3) Valkeer proto 4) Kelek 2nd version proto 5) Pernicon wind-up AFA graded

Warduke, the pics aint showing up bro, and I'd love to see em. Especially the Pernicorn. Are these yours? I wonder how many proto's were made of Valeer, Skyla and Kelek, cause Billygalaxy, a member of this group has all 3. I'd kill for those proto's. I like the Kelek with the lizards on him much more than the one that was released.
@10 incher, huh, that actually kind of makes sense, since it seems the bubbles on AD&D get yellowed much easier than other lines, so maybe it was the sun breaking it down through the bubble?

That could be the case, the bubble was pretty yellowed from what I remember.

Yeah, I've seen a ton of AD&D figures on ebay with yellowed bubbles, actually more often then not they're yellow or even turning to brown.

Yeah, still not working. You probably have to download the pics and use a hosting site ala Photobucket. By the way, I just saw some really strange ADD assortment packs on Ebay that I've never seen before. PVC's mixed with bendy monsters in these long boxes. Once the auctions over I'll post them. Also picked up a Strongheart Battlematic to add to my collection. I guess I'm going to also try and pick up all these Battlematics to really have ALL the figures: *I needed a new Strongheart anyway, mine has really loose legs, so I figured I'd use him on his horse, and get a new one to stand on the shelf, but then I saw a Battlematic for a good price and just decided to get that, Eventually I'll get a Warduke, Zarak and Elkhorn Battle Matic too, but first I need Hawkler, and eventually the Shield Shhoter versions of Young Male Titan and Ogre King.

that is an AWSOME poster, i would actually have loved to have that. the cartoon was on when i was about 12, and it and the voyagers tv show were my 2 most favorite things in the world at that time.

Yeah, I'm 37 so I was like 8-10 when it was on, back when I was watching Saturday morning cartoons every weekend and there was no such thing as the Cartoon channel, Disney, etc.. Loved that show!

Nice! Deeths a cool figure and a tough find. i got a really nice minty example too. Probably the nicest out of all my AD&D figures, or at least tied with a couple others. My Mettaflame is nice and shiny with tight limbs too. I really try to only collect nice examples of loose toys, I'd rather pay extra or wait for a really nice one to come alot then get one with loose legs, rub marks, etc.

my biggest goal is the ogre king shooter, i actually had both ogre kings when i was a kid he was my favorite figure in the line and i dont know what happened to him he just vanished through the years, i never got rid of him. now of course he turns out to be one of the most expensive figures.

Yeah, I really want him too. I almost got one on a beat up card for $90, it went for $91.50 at the last minute, I could removed it from the card and had a pristine example. But I think Young Male Titan SS shows up the least of all the figures. It's between those 2.

that the problem i have it seems whenever i lose an auction i always lose it by 1 single bid, that drives me crazy, if 5 people outbid me it wouldnt be that bad but its always just 1 person and especially if im not there for the ending and see where the same person kept bidding like a dollar more until they beat me. as far as the shield shooters i never really cared about that gimmick the ogre king is the only one i care about because they were my favorite as a kid and he is the only one that really looks alot different. i remember when i was a kid i had all the basic figures and one day my dad took me to toys r us and we hadnt been in a awhile and all the shield shooters were there and i thought to myself these arent really different then i saw the ogre king who was my favorite and was like wow hes the same but totally different. i use to pretend the bright shield shooter was a female ogre.

That Skylla figure is a 2-up of the D&D mini figure, there was one on Ebay that didn't sell at $300...
It isn't really a prototype of a Skylla action figure, though...I'm starting to doubt that one was ever made for her.

Ahh, ok, that's good to know, I wondered what that was when I saw one in Billygalaxy's collection in this group.
