Yeah I saw the custom made one (incredible by the way) I was just hoping to get a good or at least visible comparison pic. I wish we had gotten Pulvereye and Valkeer released.
So I've finally gotten around to watching some of the episodes, and I never realized that some of the figures are actual characters in the show. Warduke, kelek, Strongheart to name a few. Does that mean that the cartoon was basically using characters from the toyline? Or were characters like Metaflame, Mandoom, Deeth, etc. all intended to be part of that cartoon series had it lasted longer? That would have been awesome! and the episode with Strongheart is one of the coolest episodes ever.
I was at an estate sale today and saw a Fortress of Fangs and several figures and weapons. I immediately went to it. I scooped it up. I started looking through all the stuff and it had all of the common figures. wizard, young male titan, Warduke, Grimsword, Strongheart, a few others and the lot contained the Hawkler's hawk. I was so stoked, but when I asked about the price I was informed the lot was sold. I asked how much. Ten bucks. I almost cried. I left my number for the guy who bought it, so hopefully he calls.

Estate sales kill me. I drove to one (once) and there was an eternia playset that was in a Lot that had just sold for auction. I can't remember exactly, but it was under 20 dollars. God knows what else was in that lot.

Just started collecting the AD&D line. I picked up a Northlord, Srongheart, Hook Horror and a Bronze Dragon the other day, all complete. Hook Horror has to be one of the coolest looking figures. Kind of like a black Craven on roids with hook hands I think he would be so much cooler if his legs were articulated and he was made of solid rubber. .

the shooter version ogre king and deeth are the only 2 im still looking for. i actually had both versions of the ogre king as a kid. but the shooter one vanished with my blue snaggletooth in a move at abouy 12 years old.

Deeth was always an interesting character I think. Kind of unspoken among the good fighters in the line. My all time favorite was Mandoom, reminded me of like a Macedonian warrior or Roman. I think his bio said he was supposed to be a giant.

what a great line, ive been trying to track down accessories to metaflame and mandoom for awhile now. it real has become my favorite line to collect just because it seems impossible to find something, and then, there it is im really enjoying it this time around. i want to get a fortress of fangs next, but i think ill have to clear out some other stuff to make room first!

Does anyone have a scan of the instructions for the Fortress of Fangs. I picked up a lot of stuff recently and the fortress was included in it. There are a ton of parts, but I'm not sure if it is complete and I'm hoping someone out there has the instructions with a parts list that I can reference. Thanks!
Really getting into this line lately. I have a loose Cavefisher, Carded cave fisher, Hooked Horror, most of the bendy monsters, Ogre King and I just won a lot of some more of the bendie figures as well as a few more of the action figures, Kelek and the dwarf guy who's name escapes me. I'll post pictures when I get the shipments.
*as far as my favorite looking figures, probably Mettaflame and Grimsword. Carrion Crawler is my favorite bendy.

The toughest ones for me to find were the Shield Shooters. (not mandoom or mettaflame, those are easy) I also had a tough time finding melf with the blue shield. I think only clambo, northwinds and myself have one. Super hard to find, but worth the hunt!
Do not resent growing old, many are denied the privlage.
Just picked these up in one lot of ebay for cheap, all in great shape, they even all came with their backing card with bubbles! I've got some more figures coming, plus I already had a decent starter collection. When I get the other figures I'll post my whole collection together:
Scored this lot off ebay. I just got a different lot with Elkhorn and doubles of Kelek, Mercion and the good wizard for $12!! I'm going to trade or sell off the doubles. I paid quite a bit for this, but they would be much more had I bought them separately:
Only thing missing is the Zarak dudes knife/dirk, plus I got some extra weapons that go to figures I don't have yet.

awesome score! oddly enough, I got lucky enough to score a complete hawkler for about 9 dollars, so I'm pretty excited about that. I really like this toy line, and i wish there was at least SOME kind of comic/artwork, etc. with the characters in it. the episodes with strongheart and warduke are AWESOME, i just wish there was something with the later characters like mettaflame and mandoom
I really love this line. I only ever had the skeleton horse and rider...got it when I was in hospital for a stint once as a child. I think I will probably just go for a loose set though when I do finally get around to collecting them. Thanks for the share.

I won a Bronze Dragon on Ebay once for like five bucks because it had a broken wing, and when it came in the mail it magically was a Dragonne in excellent condition. I kinda never said anything...Nice figures btw!
