Hi all. Does anybody know anything about this Galaxy Warrior-style ape-man figure? i441.photobucket.com/albums/qq135/celerytower/apeman011.jpgIt's looks like it's an (eh-hem) "unofficial" Galaxy Warrior. It's a great quality figure and is made of sturdy plastic with a hard plastic head. The overall good quality of it makes me think it probably came on packaging that would bother to give it a name and after a fruitless Google search for info on my ape-faced friend I thought I'd ask on here to see if anybody has any ideas of what it might be since I'd love to know what it is after all these years. I got it roughly around 1987/1988 when my three-year-old self was still known to chew on small plastic swords on occasion and somewhat annoyingly just before I started insisting on keeping all the cards and boxes from my toys (which would have made identification so much easier, alas). Anyway, he's a bit Planet of the Apes chimp-ish, isn't he? I always thought he might have been from a knock-off Planet of the Apes/MOTU-ish toyline of some sort until I got a Baltard in a lot of MOTU figures a few years back and noticed the similarities between them. I assumed he must be one of Baltard's fellow Galaxy Warriors for a while due to his body and weapons but since he's not on any of the checklists I'm guessing he's from one of the many Galaxy Warrior knock-off lines. Question is, which one and does he have a name? Thanks in advance for your help!

It's from the combo fighter/warrior line. There's one with a cowardly the lion head as well.

I've got a quick question...
A friend of mine dug up a loose Pegasaurus. I couldn't find any on ebay, and I kinda want it. How much are these worth these days?

Sadly, I don't think there is any real authority out there for knock off pricing...but I'd say he'd end up going for at least a hundred bucks if he's in decent condition. They don't pop up much from what I can tell, and I've been keeping tabs for some time. I've only seen 'em in eBay auctions once in a great while and they always went for a decent amount (like I said, around a hundred or so), but it depends on how many folks out out there looking and aware! I got a mint one recently...in a lot with the Demon Fighter...and I waited the seller out 'til they lowered their asking price. So, in the end I paid about $150 each, but they were both mint...and that's just me. I couldn't take the wait anymore...had to finally have 'em after years of waiting and "research". Did I rip myself off? I dunno, but, like I said...I've tried to keep tabs and keep searching and they always end up going for a good amount.

I'd say $150-200 for pegasaurus loose-boxed.
Demon fighter isn't too far behind at about $100-120 (so you didn't overpay for minty ones countzackula)

I dug up these some days ago as scar1321 mentioned. Took me a long time of googling and lot of help to learn what they are. I've been taking pictures of stuff I'm going to sell so figured I might as well take a photo of them too. I always thought they where He-Man figures They need a bit of cleaning and are next in line. Maybe someone can help me with who the loose shield belongs too?

I like how they came holding the shield, I bet that added some kind of "labor hours" amount over time. Looks a lot cooler in the package though

Are the Galxay Heroes knock offs of these guys? Sort of,although they're more like bootlegs. Remember, bootlegs steal the mold, knock offs steal the idea.

Ygg and Spikes.
Ygg's shield is on the right and the axe is his
Spikes shield is not there, but his sword is.

Well, ebay goes off on action figures at the moment and they're mostly coming up with ridiculous prices, because many of these Galaxy Fighters are not as rare as they want you make believe. I mean Speclatron, ok, why not... those are rare, but not these fellas. In the end, it all depends on oneself. Are you willing to give your hard earned money for the figs or not. I would not give about 60 dollars for a loose dragoon to be honest.^^

I've picked up the majority of my Galaxy Fighters/Warriors etc. at thrift/junk shops and in odd box lots. I'd say don't splurge too much cash unless it's carded... I'm slowly accumulating this line with a bit of hunting and low spending. A lot of sellers still don't know or rate these figures.

My rarest find so far is the blue headed Anubi figure. It seems impossible to upload but it has purple/blue shoes, same with the wristbands and belt. Anubi stays one of the best figures :-) (see my profile picture of the blue headed anubi

Hello, got these 3 galaxy warriors in today but totally different colors. Legs/arms/head fully moveable. Magoon is brown body/arms/legs and facecolor is darker, yellow belt. red pants, green boots. Batoon purple body/arms/legs, also darker face, purple body, yellow belt, lightpurple pants, blueish boots. Daton lightgreen face, green body/arms/legs, orange belt, lightgreen pants + purple armor, black boots. No markings on the body's though. Anyone knows something about this variation. (not painted, colors are real)

. I have Batoon. They came with multi colored armor as well. Not sure what line they were released as though, if Infact a different line altogether. I've seen at least five different ones, maybe six.

I have only seen 5 The 3 pictured and Anobe and mace ape Armour colors I've seen are Gold (Batoon), Green (mace ape), Purple (Daton\ mace ape), Yellow (magoon) and Orange (anobe) Northwinds found a mace ape with green armour and in Rocklords collection is one with the purple armour daton in the picture above has on. It might have been a swap, i put an orange armour on my batoon since my anobe is headless 5 figures in a line seems a bit of, more likely that they where released in an even number. So 6 would make sense, hopefully this mystery will get solved someday

Dunno if this has been posted somewhere yet, but thought I'd share this battery operated Cheapskate type vehicle with some Galaxy Warrior type dude apparently made by Sungold: Funny, the "not" where it says "Figure not included" looks like it's been blacked out with marker. Wondering if the figure was actually included or if this ebay seller just stuck something random in there. I don't recognize the guy on the box or the one that's actually on the skateboard though, not that I'm any kind of expert on bootleg fantasy figures.
