I also understand G.I. Joe is being brought back, I assume to retail, in the 6 inch figure format. While it's good to see Joe being marketed again I had a lot of the 3.75" figures from the 2007-09 series and don't have them anymore. Plus, I tried a few Star Wars 6 inch figures and they never really grew on me so I got rid of any I had. Also these will, I imagine, be $20 a pop like the Star Wars 6 inch.

I would be in for such a thing but I'm not especially fond of the modernized redesigns. They all look like they have starship trooper boots on. Do figures based on the classic toys, or the Sunbow cartoon, or the Dic cartoon, or Marvel comics and I am interested, but not so much for these too-tacticool-for-the-room space marines lookin' fools.
The store I work at got some of these today. Only snake eyes, Duke, and Scarlett left. The Duke looks better in person and snake eyes is cool as he is probably my favorite Joe. I'm a little on the fence about scarlett's face sculpt and Duke looks a little younger than what I would have in mind but I went ahead and got them. I'll see how it goes from here.

They all have been just sorta ok imho, but I am not caring for Cobra Commander at all. I suppose if these do well, we'll eventually see the retro designs which is what I would want. I'm ready for some Vipers and BATs. They have red ninja army builders coming but upon closer inspection they look a little too modernized for what I would want them for.
