I haven't really been buying many figures lately and if I have it's mainly been a select few 8 inch Mego 2.0 figures. Sometime last year or earlier this year a couple of Super Friends 6 inch figures popped up in the DC Multiverse line of Batman and Green Lantern and I felt nostalgic enough to buy them and then I was seeing things about how the next two figures in the line of Superman and Aquaman were probably cancelled so I figured so much for that. Outside of the Megos the only figure(s)I have purchased is that dog character in that Bendy And The Ink Machine line in the past months until last weekend when, much to my surprise, I found the Super Friends Superman and Aquaman at a Wal-Mart. I know these are rehashes from the DC Universe line but I didn't buy any of those so I was grateful to see these as I had been looking for these characters in their classic costumes. Now if they made a Flash, Robin, and Wonder Woman that would be okay by me. I don't know if they have given Aquaman a trident as I haven't opened the figure yet but they didn't give Green Lantern a power lantern which I thought was an odd oversight. There are some various 3.75" figures from different lines I wouldn't mind getting but they all require more of a monetary investment than I can make.

Glad to hear you're still picking up stuff here and there. I am pretty certain Aqua's got his trident - but yeah, strange not to give GL any accessories. DC Multiverse in general seems all over the place, like really random selection, but I mean that in a good way.
I casually picked up Hawkman (Legends of Tomorrow version) even though I don't dig his look in the show, I thought it translated well as a figure. Heck, with added wingspan, Hawkman always looks good as a toy. I would have positively pounced on a Super Friends version of Hawky. I saw a Dark Knight Returns Joker where I shop too, (tempted) but the articulation cuts just do not work with the white monkey-suit.
What were the 3.75 figures that are piquing your interest at the moment?

The new Universal Monsters, Nosferatu, Alfred Hitchcock, and Planet Of The Apes by Super 7 and there are a few Amok Time Toys exclusives like Creepshow and The Time Machine. I managed to get the first series of Apes figures and supposedly there was supposed to be a second series out by now but it seems most things get pushed back quite a few months or maybe even a year these days.

Don't worry spockoda , I'm taking up your slack. Toy companies will not go broke on my watch. rihia2k I think the Hawkman figure looks better than it actually does on the show. The guy who plays him seems like he should be beefier or something? Particularly with the size of the helmet. I like that costume though. Real Max Rockatansky.
DC Multiverse figures in general are kinda growing on me. I thought they were pretty crap for awhile, particularly the movie figures. And then seeing the same pegwarmers for months on end like nothing but Damian Wayne figures taking up an entire section. Now that some of the older waves are finally trickling into Walmart, Target, and the like (just now seeing Batwoman and Martian Manhunter show up locally), some of them look decent. The Aquaman movie wave actually looks quite good, just haven't dipped my toe in yet.

I think I forgot about him because I was focused on Green Lantern's lack of a power lantern accessory.

I am glad to hear that because they aren't making any sort of money off of me these days ! I have developed another hobby, buying select vinyl lp's and making cd's out of them. This isn't a new activity for me as I started doing this in '06 and I generally don't spend the kind of money on this as I was on figures 15+ years ago but it has cut in front of figures as my main hobby as of now. I still see figures I wouldn't mind having but am able to get only a few....

I'm getting you a walker and some Werther's originals if you keep bringing up these ancient things like CDs and the year 2006.
Just seeing some of the Super 7 Universal Monsters figures now. Predictably, Mole People and Metaluna Mutants are my faves.
