Does anyone collect the first line of Marvel Superheroe figures that were released in the late 80s & early 90s. Some of them are pretty cool such as Annihilus and Daredevil with his new costume. I remember seeing Deathlok in the stores for years after. For some reason nobody wanted him.

This line was the reason I started re-collecting action figures again. It's hard to say "no" when you could buy them at $2 each! I think this was back in 1995. And I do recall a many Deathloks that had been marked down several times. Others that didn't sell well were the multi-jointed Spidey, parachute Spidey and Captain America. These were all in the three for $5 bins. (Where's a good time machine when you need one!) Ones I never saw in the store were Iron Man and Mr. Fantastic. I did just buy a Thor MOC the other week at a Rummage Sale for $2. ;D

I've been buying these here and there. They kind of bring a Marvel compliment to Super Power I think because of similar sculpting. So far I have: Spider-Man(suction cup hands) Captain America Hulk Silver Surfer(dull grey) Iron-Man Human Torch Invisible Woman Dr. Doom Dr. Octopus Annihilus

I was a huge toybiz freak & collected those exclusivily for years (super heros,X-men,New Mutants,Iron man,Fantastic 4,& pretty much any other toybiz marvel line. also the gold & other exclusive sets.)I've got 3 tubs full of toybiz stuff setting in my closet as well as 6 of the old crappy blow apart Sentinels.(Well, they were cool at the time, finally giant Sentinels to fight the X-men...& I had to have 6).

I was at my local comic store over the weekend and they had a bunch of MOC Marvel Superhero figures from Toybiz. They wanted way to much though, I'm guessing the'll be on the shelves for another 10 years or so. Anyone know what the HTF figures go for from this line? I know they wanted like $15 for Daredevil at the store.
