Although I am a big wrestling fan (mostly the old stuff), I was never a hardcore wrestling figure collector. A few years ago, I bought a lot of about 30 figures for only $1 each at a Thrift store. Now thats the way to start a collection ;D. I do pick up the odd LJN figure when I can get a good deal. Also wondering what the rare figures in the line are? I heard that 2 of the hardest to find are the Warlord and Ultimate Warrior. Anyone know of any Websites that feature pics of the line loose and complete?

These were some of the only toys to survive my childhood.Last year, I decided to fill in the voids in my collection, which ended up with me replacing all of my older ones as they had tons of battle damage. Now, the only ones that I'm missing is the Black strap Andre, the Strikeforce Tito,& the hasbro mail offer Sgt. Slaughter....I do need to get a hat or 2 for some of the guys though.

I just picked up a wrestling ring with all 4 sides of the cage at a yard sale this weekend. It is in pretty nice shape, though I need 3 turnbuckles for it. I also got a dozen or so figures with it. Pretty good deal for under $10. I think I will keep the ring this time around.

Anyone know which figures from this line actually came with belts? Was it Hogan and the tag team sets? Also, are all the belts the same?

Hogan came with the world title that was black, the 2 packs came with tag team titles which are red. I have about 30 common figures.

Welcome to the boards! I think those are all I know about. The list I have is from an issue of Action Figure News and Toy Review and it doesn't seem to mention any others. Do you have any idea of what accessories came with the ring and the steel cage accessory?

I did have the ring at one time but one of the posts ended up snapping off and once that happened the ring was dead. I never personally owned the steel cage accessory but had friends who did. Each of those items were sold separately and did not come with any additional accessories. As for the figures, 29 of them came with some type of accessory: 4 Hogans each with belts 2 British Bulldogs with belts 2 Hart Foundation with belts 2 Killer Bees with belts 2 Srike Force with belts JYD - Collar with Chain (2 paint variatios) Hillbilly Jim - Hat Nikolai Volkoff - Hat Classie Freddie Blasse - Cane Billy Jack Haynes - Hat Terry Funk - Hat and Branding Iron Outback Jack - Hat Koko B. Ware - Bird Freddie Jake the Snake Robberts - Snake Damian Elizabeth - Skirt Rowdy Roddy Piper - Kilt Hacksaw Jim Duggan - 2X4 Slick - Hat King Harley Race - Crown Honkey Tonk Man - Guitar Cowboy Bob Orton - Hat Mr. Fuji - Cane

HI. I NOTED THAT THERE IS A LIST OF FIGURES POSTED PREVIOUSLY AND THERE ARE SOME VARIATIONS MISSING IN THE EVENT ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW.
1. THERE IS A SECOND BOBBY HEENAN - ONE HAS A SCROLL ON THE SHOULDERS, THE OTHER DOES NOT.
2. LOU ALBANO HAS 2 ALSO, ONE WITH A RED ON THE VEST, THE OTHER WHITE.
3. THERE IS A THIRD CPL KIRCHNER, HE HAS STUBBLE.
4. ELIZABETH HAS 2 VARIATIONS, A GOLD OR PURPLE SKIRT.
5. THERE IS A "HAIRY" VERSION OF GE. STEELE IN THIS HIS BODY HAIR IS BROWN.
6. JESSE VENTURA HAS 4 VERSIONS - BLONDE MUSTACHE WITH BLONDE HAIR, RED/BROWN MUST. WITH RED/BROWN HAIR, A VERSION WITH PURPLE TIGHTS RATHER THAN PURPLE AND A VERSION WITH THE TIGHTS LISTED AS PALE. I DO NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCES ON THE LAST 2 SINCE THE PHOTOS I HAVE SEEN ARE ALL SOME VARIATION OF PINK.
7. JIMMY HART HAS VARIATIONS WITH AND WITHOUT HEARTS ON HIS MEGAPHONE.
8. JUNKYARD DOG IS LISTED WITH 4 VARIATIONS. HIS CHAIN CAN BE SILVER (SHINY), GRAY, RED OR BLACK.
9.RODDY PIPER CAN COME WITH RED OR BROWN BOOTS (I CALL THEM MARROON).
10. I HAVE NEVER SEEN OR HEARD ABOUT A YELLOW SHIRTED HOGAN. I BELIEVE IT HAS BEEN CONFUSED WITH ANOTHER LINE WHICH ARE SLIGHTLY SMALLER CALLED - UNDER DIFFERENT MATERIALS I HAVE READ - O.S.F.T., OSFT, O.S.F.T.M. AND/OR TOYMAKERS (THE CO WAS OLD SAN FRANCISCO TOYMAKERS) WHO MADE 2 YELLOW VERSIONS IN THE MID TO LATE 90'S.
AS FOR PHOTOS, IF YOU GO TO WRESTLINGFIGS.COM AND SIGN UP TO BE A MEMBER (FREE), YOU GET ACCESS TO THEIR FIGURE DATABASE WHICH SHOWS ALL THE LJN, GALOOB AND OSFT (WHICH I COLLECT) ALONG WITH THE JACKKS, HASBRO AND ECW FIGURES.
THERE ARE ALSO 2 12" FIGURES, HOGAN AND PIPER, NOT TO MENTION (AND I TRY NEVER TO MENTION THEM) THE MINI VERSIONS THAT ARE THUMB WRESTLERS.

The 12" figures look pretty cool, though they don't look like they are articulated from the pics I have seen.

I just picked up a Big Boss Man at Value Village for $1.99. To bad the tip of his finger is missing. He should come with a nightstick, right?

Also there were other tag teams that came with world titles. Some were real teams at one time or another like the Iron sheik & Volkoff, but I also remember seeing "thrown together" tag teams with Hillbilly Jim & Junk yard Dog (I think it was JYD) that came with tag belts as well.

I just scored a Warlord & One Man Gang at a toy show for $3 each. I think the guy had these at the last show I saw him at (maybe 1 1/2-2 years ago . I wasn't into LJN wrestlers as much then so at the time I only bought a few figures I really liked. It was pretty lucky he still had these guys

Yeah, I was pretty lucky. He is in awesome shape to! My LJN wrestler collection is all from Garage sales, Flea Markets, Thrift Stores & local toy shows. I don't think I have ever paid more than $3 per figure. The only ones I am missing are:
Andre (short & long hair) Hulk yellow shirt Hulk red shirt Hillbilly JIm Jimmy Superfly Snuka Roddy Piper George The Animal Steele Freddie Blassie Jimmy Hart S.D. Jones (Hawian & red shirt) Tito Santanna King Harley Race Mene Gene Ax Rick Martel Slick Haku Rick Rude Ultimate Warrior Sgt. Slaughter
This is not including most of the variants, and of course most of the accessories for the figures I do own

Wasn't Sgt. Slaughter a mail away? This is the first I have heard of the figure (in this thread)

Yeah, he was a GI Joe mail away offerd from Hasbro but he was made just like the LJN guys & most of the printed adds had him standing over a lot of the fallen LJN wrestlers.I don't think he's really part of that line but most LJN collectors consider him a part anyway.

AS TO VALUES OF LJN RINGS, THERE IS A WIDE VARIANCE OF PRICES. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THEM ON E-BAY AND LOOSE ONES ARE GOING FOR A WILD RANGE OF PRICES. THERE WERE 2 EARLIER THIS MONTH THAT WERE TRASH FROM THE PHOTOS AND THEY WENT IN THE $56 AND $62 + SHIPPING. ONE WENT TODAY THAT WAS ADVERTISED AS ALMOST NEW AND IT SOLD FOR $34. I HAVE ONE I BOUGHT MY SON ONE NEW WHEN IT CAME OUT THAT IS STILL SERVICEABLE, BUT GOT STUPID AND THOUGHT I HAD A GOOD DEAL ON EBAY TRYING TO GET ANOTHER AND THE RING TURNED OUT TO BE TRASH - THE STICKERS WERE TORN UP AND THE ROPES WERE LONG ENOUGH YOU COULD PUT IN A 5TH POST AND STILL HAVE SOME LEFT OVER. MINE CAME WITH 8 FIGURES AND I ONLY PAID $23 FOR ALL OF IT INCLUDING A CAGE, WHICH WAS THE ONLY THING THAT CAME AS GOOD AS ADVERTISED. I WAS ONLY BUYING IT FOR THE CAGE AND 2 OF THE FIGURES ANYWAY. CONSIDERING SOME OF THE FIGURES I SEE ARE SELLING AT $10+ EACH, IF THEY AND THE RING ARE IN ANY DECENT CONDITION AT ALL, AND A RING IS A GOOD $30, IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU GOT A REALLY GOOD DEAL.

Just scored a complete loose Hillbilly Jim (with hat) and a nice looking George the Animal Steele for $2 each at a doll show over the weekend! Currently i have over 3/4's of the line and probably paid no more than $2 for each figure on average. Getting some of those accessories will be a bit tougher me thinks.

Is it hard to get a MOC Hulk Hogan with no shirt and yellow trunks? I would really like to get one as that is the one I had as a kid.

Did they ever release Ricky Steamboat with the orange legs?

IF STEAMBOAT HAS ORANGE LEGS, I WOULD SAY IT IS CUSTOMIZED. I HAVE NOT SEEN ANYTHING BUT BLACK TIGHTS ON HIM.

Hello everyone I am new to this board. I too collect Wrestling and Hulk Hogan memorabilia and LJN's are my favorites.
I recently picked up a strech wrestler Hulk Hogan mint in box for $50 not a bad deal seeing the fetch upwards of $80 and more on eBay.
