Secret Wars for me! Purely nostalgic reasons. I remember getting the Tower Of Doom, Captain America & Spiderman plus Captain America's turbo cycle. I got them from a cheap £1 store in Scotland. It was all clearance stuff, absolutely loved those figures. I actually don't remember much Super Powers stuff in the UK around that time.

I must say that I am more a Marvel fan than DC however I would vote for Super Powers. I enjoyed the figures as a kid and I was always a fan of Super Friends cartoon.

Secret Wars. I loved the lenticular shield things and the figures were cool too. That weird rubbery plastic held up pretty well. Oddly enough, I only had villains. I had the Doom Wheel, Doctor Doom, Doc Ock, Kang, and Magneto.
I did have Super Powers figures too, but those Secret Wars guys looked like they came right out of a comic book. The muscles and the colors were right...at least until the paint wore off in the bath tub.
Once I lost Superman and Batman ' s capes, I didn't really want to play with them anymore.

Super powers. They don't melt into discolored sludge like Secret Wars figures do.

Good point! Super Powers do lose their paint a lot, though.

Definitely super powers over secret wars in my opinion.

I'm torn because both Doctor Doom and Brainiac were favorite childhood action figures. Brainiac's damn arm never stayed on, but oh well.
Probably gonna have to give it to Super Powers though--much better quality figures, pretty great sculpts, They looked dead on.

I prefer Super Powers as well. However, over time their action tightness loosens. Like my flash's (who was taken out of package and then stored) don't work that great anymore. Don't have that issue with Secret Wars.

As a kid, I only had Secret Wars and I love those... but I grew up to be a die hard DC fan. So in retrospect, I really wish I had had the Super Powers line growing up. @_@
That said, the Doom Roller was pretty awesome.
