You can actually get Choco Treasure eggs which are similar here in the use. You can see what they look like in this video youtu.be/K-Ns-7M1ZE0.

Sorry Lily, but the "prizes" you found in the candy eggs shown in your video are pretty pathetic compared to the imaginative and detailed stuff that's been in the Kinder Surprise eggs over the years. I really feel sorry for the kids in the United States that have been deprived of the wonderful toys and figures that have been available elsewhere in the world because of concerns over ingesting small parts. Cracker Jack "prizes" have also stunk for many years, being reduced to just some bits of paper.

I hear that. We've been fortunate to get Kinder Surprise here in New Zealand for quite a time now, I hadn't bought one for many years but last year my girlfriend threw one in for my birthday. The 'toy' however turned out to be a tiny cardboard jigsaw puzzle of a bulldog in a hat. Pretty disappointing when compared to the plastic kit set bugs, figures and vehicles, etc. that Kinder released when I was a kid. I very fondly remember a plane, boat and car set I had from Kinder Surprise. Simple, but designed with care, and actual 3 dimensional sturdy plastic toys! Kinder might still release proper toys, not sure, but that pink-dog-puzzle was a booby prize. I bought my first ever, and only, packet of Crackerjacks last year. (yes, as an adult) I'd grown up forever exposed to the comic book ads promoting Crackerjacks with the mention of a "prize inside". I didn't expect much from the tooth-rot candy corn naturally (had to wash that down with a gallon of milk cos I don't really do sugar) but, yeesh, some prize! A paper sticker of that sailor kids dog, Bingo and a webpage link which I never bothered to follow. Considering all the other trash and dangers kids are exposed to, it seems a shame to take away simply getting a toy with a treat. Despite all the big brand figures I grew up with, I still have very fond memories of things like dinosaurs in muesli bar packets or rubber jigglers in cereal boxes.
