Anyone collect lines like VR Troopers, Mystic Kinights Of Tir Na Nog, etc? I had a few figures from these two lines when I began collecting. I don't know about VR Troopers, but I saw part of an episode of Mystic Knights and I thought the figures were better than the show. In retrospect the figures from these two lines are something I wouldn't mind dabbling in. I didn't care for the Beetle Borgs at all. Note: I know a store that still has a Beetle Borgs vehicle from 1997 still on the shelf as of the last time I was there which would be within the last two months. The box is kinda faded but still sitting there... If Power Rangers is by Saban's, I never got into the show or the toys on that either. I recall seeing an episode or two of Xyber 9, which was animated and I recall having a heyday one time at a KB store buying some of the harder to find vehicles like the Rock Tank. At the time I thought the Xyber 9 show deserved a better fate than what it got, although if you see the individually carded figures together you kinda get a feeling of a Star Wars rip-off. I bought a couple of the figures carded for $1.00 a piece at a flea market awhile back.

Always thought about getting into the Mystic Knights line mostly because of the fantasy aspect. Though have never really ran into any of the figures carded/complete at any shows or anywhere else.

The majority of VR Troopers figures are a blown up scale of the Choujenki Metalder Ghost Bank series from Bandai, which I find interesting. Mystic Knights was Saban's first and last attempt at a 1oo% in house developed action show, without using a single bit of Japanese resourced material.

I really like this updated Gavan (first in the Metal Hero series which Metalder is part of) but it's a Japan web exclusive. p-bandai.jp/tamashiiwebshouten/item-1000077883/My friend bought one on his recent trip to Japan and showed ti to me last weekend. Really nice chrome finish, like what they used to do with many toys back in the 1980s...
