Anyone have figures they would like to be able to have but know they will likely never see the light of day? I would like to see Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi figures from the 1930s movies The Black Cat and The Raven. I would also like to see figures of Vincent Price from his AIP movie roles. I could probably think of others, these are just off the top of my head.

I always wanted the blue jewel thief from the remco Conan line. There a pic of him in the dealer catolog, of course it was an early prototype. Ill try and post a pic of it this weekend.

I could honestly see those Lugosi & Karloff figures happening one day, maybe not even in our time but y'know... enough monkeys - enough typewriters. I guess I mused on the Dream Figure idea a lot. A not very popular video game called Disciples III has some great 3d models and I couldn't help thinking they'd make cool toys. ... And o' course Running Man movie, etc.
I would also like to see more characters from less glorified aspects of history: Ned Kelly and other infamous Australian Bushmen, Australian Aboriginal Warriors, New Zealand Maori Warriors. South African Boer war hospital playset - okay, okay that's pushing it.

When I was a kid, I use to pit my figures in one on one fighting, so for me the one Movie that I wish had figures, was Bloodsport. I use to imitate that movie with whatever figures I was using of the same scale, be it G. I. Joes or MotU KO's. I always had a fighting tournament on with my figures. Bloodsport figures would definately be my dream figures. I would like to see a Frank Dux, Ray Jackson, Chong Li, Paco, Sadiq Hossein, Suan Paredes, Pumola, Chuan Ip Mung, plus all the other no name characters. I would even want Lil' Victor Lin, Helmer & Rawlins, Senzo Tanaka, Chong Li's Trainer, The Ref, The Janitor, The Judges, etc. just to complete the whole experience. OK USA!!!

I also would like to see, from the original Clash Of The Titans movie, a Medusa figure that's to scale with the Mattel figures. Also, anyone remember Empire's 4 inch Legends Of The West line from the 70s? I would like to see a modern line of figures based on the designs of the original figures.

I think a historical / mythological line would be awesome. Pick and choose from Greece, Rome, Persia, China, etc. Then have mythological animals/warriors to go with it. I've been waiting years for a good line like that to come along.
I really wish Chap Mei would tackle it.

I really really am holding my breath in the hopes that next year they will try their hand on Dwarves because that would be totally amazing. But the Elves were a dream come true already!

I wouldnt even care if its not official and just some generic brand that has a long run. Theres some great Safari, bullyland, etc minis but they dont have moving parts. They would be great as figures because they have good designs. Ive been disappointed about the lack of fantasy characters for a long time. I would have thought that The Hobbit would have brought more interest into the genre again. After looking around a little various sites a little bit I did see one cool line called "Wizards Magic". Dont look to be articulated though. I'm going to learn more about these types of lines.

@terrible Tony, Bloodsport would kick serious ass. No doubt. I'd love to see a Neverending Story line of figures and playsets. So many cool designs.
*I'd also kill for a real AD&D Pulvereye Shield Shooter, and a Tarrasque wind up monster, not sure if any were made other than one prototype.

Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer was humble fun. I'm sure any figures pertaining to that flick shall remain unmade. Hmm... this thread is quickly becoming ambiguous and very similar to existing threads on 'TV/Movie figures' and 'Prototypes' wishlists.

I would have to check as it's been a while since I last handled those figures.

One of my old "dream" figures from the world of Star Trek actually exists now. Playmates nearly released a 5 inch version of it but then lost the Trek lisense. Diamond Select had a 7 inch version sculpted, painted, and ready to go but apparently cancelled it. I'm referring to the M-113 salt creature or "salt vampire" as it is commonly referred to. Diamond Select did come through with an 8 inch retro-cloth version but I wasn't able to get ahold of one when it was available at retail prices. Now the price for one on the secondary market makes me ask myself "Just how bad do I want this figure?".

@spockoda, I don't know if you watch Toy Hunter, but they had a Salt Vampire rubber mask on 2 weeks ago (and another guy who's name escapes me, furry with one horn on his head, white, if i remember correctly). Super cool.

Super cool. Was the other possibly the Mugato? I liked Toy Hunter but no longer get the channel it's on. Playmates made my Mugato "dream" come true with a 5 inch scale version of the creature. It was better than Mego's 8 inch version that is wearing a Brazillan disco type of outfit .

I think it would have been cool if they made figures from the movie "The Abyss".

Schleich, Papo and Bullyland are releasing hoards of elves. Why won't anybody release hords of centaurs?

I wouldn't really put these on my list of "dream figures", but it would be a hoot if somebody made figures of the "group" Dethklok from the Metalocalypse cartoon .

I did a search and found a few pics of the Dethklok figures. I want them! However, I didn't find a price or any for sale so they might end up being out of my price range but they are funny. I'm just disappointed there's no Dr. Rockso. Got any c-c-cocaine ?

Gotta say that I was just poking around this site and I came across this post and it inspired me to create an account based on what I think would be some great figures. Monster Squad figures might be hard to do with obtaining all of the rights to the classic monsters that appeared in the film but the other characters would be great, Sean, Patrick, Del, Phoebe...and yes the name is Horace (cock the shotgun). Would love this. Anyway, I'm sure I'll continue to enjoy this forum.

From the original Star Trek, I wouldn't mind seeing a figure made of Ruk, a chracter that actor Ted Cassidy brought to life in the episode "What Are Little Girls Made Of?".
