Ooh wow...do you own that set or is it just a pic? I don't see (or rather can't see) and manufacturer or date on that box.
That Lord Zedd lookalike is particularly awesome...looks like he's from that one Iron Maiden album cover!

Got the pics from ebay, too pricey for me but they are really cool! I'm guessing they were from anytime between Photon and Lazer Wars. I've never seen anything like them!

I am relatively sure I've seen that red monster guy before loose in someone's collection or in a random eBay lot. Not saying that makes these "produced" because I could have been another proto that someone was unaware of. Regardless, these are amazing. And yeah, that BIN is a bit steep for my blood.

They also look like a cross between Power Rangers and NA of He-Man.

All I know is that the original owner "wolfie1" also owned a lot of super powers prototypes and rarer funskool gi joes. He was sort of a big deal collector a decade ago (don't try to find him, he's LONG out of the toy community) and when I asked him about these back when they were on ebay still he had no idea of the maker behind them and the figures were hand painted resin. Only set he had ever seen or owned so my assumption they were to be produced by a very small time or new start-up company and these were their only display models that were hand produced.

Hey thanks for the reply, thats so interesting I am curious because I found two of them at a thrift store a while back and couldnt find any info on them. They are missing the accessories but they are in decent shape.
