Theres an unboxed complete Eternia on ebay listed at EUR1,100 but he said he would let it go for EUR1,050 ($1,432)
Is it worth that much???

As a dealer I can get upwards of 1k for a beautiful loose complete eternia shipped overseas, a sealed one is unheard of and should easily fetch 2k+ if listed properly. That's one hell of a beautiful pile of motu stuff. Don't let anyone bs you just do your homework you'll do great. And make some serious collectors really happy.

Very nice find thorns02. I've never seen pics of one with pieces still sealed in baggies.

The artwork is absolutely stunning on pieces like this. I wish toy companies would go back to this kind of artwork. I'm surprised people pay so much for Eternia playsets. If you take the time and collect them piece by piece, you can get one for under or around $100 US.

Great contributing pic, thorns! I've never seen it laid out like that.

I usually take the average what stuff sell for on ebay. Sometimes stuff sells higher because it's a rare variant as well, which to most people looks like the same figure as the ones selling for way less. Then there is the bad day as well, when your item sell for a price that would have been better off not selling. It was in season 2, where they visit a toy museum that sells some stuff and he find the eternia playset. In S02E07 he find a wonderbread he-man.

never go by ebay prices as they jump up and down all the time Not sure where you would get your values then, book? Outdated as soon as it is printed. no, ebay is here to stay and I agree with averages. With something very rare, a private auction house is the way to go for selling and there is your value.

These Eternia playsets are super minty! This was the toy line that I went mad for as a kid (well MOTU and Thundercats!) I never even saw an Eternia in the UK, nobody had it, EVER! I had the fright Zone, that was it! LOL I must admit, looking through this thread and these pics (because they are in such good condition) You really see the MOTU artwork for what it is, ART! LOL Just amazing detail and quality. When you compare this with the crap being produced today, it's clear when the heart fell out of toys!
