The figures from the 2nd movie haven't surfaced at TrU here yet, still have figures from the 1st movie on the shelves. Actually Azog was made in the smaller line, i think is just in the UK only. In New Zealand today I saw some at a department store, and you're right, 10incher - Azog in the small scale was shown on the cardback! On the pegs were only Thorin and Radagast the Brown though. Thorin's just the same as his original release I believe but that Radagast was tempting. Girlfriend said I hadda buy shoes instead ... mumble mumble ... boring shoes. But, damn! if I see that Azog I will pounce without hesitation and happily go barefoot for a month.

With that knowledge, I'll pick up what I can find of the cooler figures here down-under and set 'em aside for a rainy day in Canada (You've got first dibs, 10incher). They appear to be sellin' very well in New Zealand (no surprise really), the two I saw were 'reduced' to $10 NZD / $8.33 USD.

You know man, that would be awesome if you could! I would definatley take them off your hands. As I mentioned, the movie has come and gone and my local TrU still has the figures from the first movie and doesn't look like they will be getting any new ones. They are the only store around here that carries them as well.

Finally picked up a Goblin King 2-pack at a decent price. Got him MISB off Amazon UK for under $40 shipped.
Has anyone heard or seen any of the new figure assortment from the final movie? I know we won't be getting them up here inn Canada.

Has anyone heard or seen any of the new figure assortment from the final movie? I know we won't be getting them up here inn Canada. I thought I'd be seeing Battle of the Five Armies figures by now. I kinda' forgot about The Hobbit 3 3/4" line until I went and saw the last movie yesterday. But is it generally assumed that The Bridge Direct has just stopped with this whole series? Kinda' weird to have a line with card backs from just two films out of a trilogy. There is that large Smaug figure which came out later than most everything else, but it's no Balrog. The Bridge Direct just trailed off during 'Desolation of Smaug' maybe? Man, these Hobbit figures definitely didn't generate the same excitement among figure fans as that LOTR series. Anybody else got wind of BOTFA figures? Edit: recent reviews on that Smaug figure aren't making it look too hot: wbshop smaug

Yes, sounds like the whole line was dumped, to bad, would have been nice to compete the Dwarves. The Smaug figure was pretty disappointing as well as it is very tiny.

yeah this was such a shame. I only bought the 3.75" Hobbit figures. The goblins are such well made toys . They have great movement with just enough articulation to not ruin the aesthetics . I was looking forward to the Hobbit 2 wave with a 3.75" scale Azog and Radagast but they weren't available at stores in the U.S. I think they were very limited in the U.K. I searched for Azog for a while . It was frustrating at first because I kept seeing auctions for the 6" scale figures that seemed more abundant.
There was one new Hobbit 2 figure that came in a Mirkwood Hero multipack with other re-issued figures. Thandruil the elf was from that set and it was pretty easy to find at Toys R Us on clearance. Thandruil ended up being the only widely available 3.75" figure from Desolation of Smaug .
