Yesterday I saw the line on sale at one of my local TRU but I passed on them cause they had the nerve to put the single carded figures for 10.99 each. I'll wait till they hit Walmart or Target at 7 to 8 each then payoff TRU for being first on the market.

The cool thing about TRU is that they don't only have sales to clear out old inventory. Most of the time , they will have a BOGO sale close to the time of the movie release . I will be getting a few of these soon. I am really glad they don't have upper torso separation. They look much better than Marvel Universe figures. I only hope they did not get rid of the wrist and ankle articulation.

The ones I saw seemed blah, I guess I already have all the figures from the previous movie lines except the Hulk and he seems kinda small. I might pick up a Hulk on sale to customize another character we'll see.

Anyone know who the villian or villians are in this movie?

Saw these at TRU as well as a comic shop...didn't pay heavy attention to 'em though. I did think the Hulk looked awful, though. It just kinda bugs me that Iron Man, Thor and Captain America figures are all still quite plentiful in most stores, yet the new Avengers toys mostly feature those characters! What an odd world we live in, indeed......

It looks to me like Loki's army is a bunch of skrull warriors .
I was not impressed when I saw the toys in Target. Someone wake me when Black Widow comes out in the later waves.

I picked up the Hawkeye and Loki, and I'll snag a Black Widow when it hits toy aisles... but I have no room in my life for anymore Iron Man, Captain America, or Thor figures.

Yeah most of these molds don't look up to par with what Hasbro has been doing lately, I'll wait on a decent sale before I take a haul of these guys. Anybody got a link to what the next wave looks like?

I took a closer look at these yesterday and is that "hammer strike" Thor supposed to be the Ultimates version. I'll be keeping an eye out for that guy on sale.

I haven't seen any new stock anywhere for quite some time. I heard these have improved hip articulation...is that true? Can you actually move the legs forward at the hip without awkward fiddling?! If so...I'm gonna scream (anger and happiness).

TrU had a half price sale on these last week. Was in the store the day before and they had Hulk, Hawkeye and the other short-packed ones. Went the next day for the sale and nothing but Thor, Iron Man and Cap left, shelves full. I guess i shoulda bought a few at the sale price anyway to exchange for when they get the other figures back in.

Not really into newer movie lines. I went to Fred Meyer 2 days ago to see if there was any Marvel Universe I didn't have, there was only one rack of MU and it was all Iron Man, the other 8 racks or so were all Avengers. I didn't even bother to look at them. How many Iron Man figures do people need?

If so...I'm gonna scream (anger and happiness). I feel weird quoting myself, but if anyone else was wondering...I got a Hawkeye at work today...opened it as soon as I got home. Hasbro did indeed change the style of hip articulation they had foolishly been utilizing for Marvel Legends and the small-scale movie lines for years! Good, 'cause they figures are more fun to play with, but bad since now I wanna get new Iron Man, Thor and Cap figures now! AUGH!

Yeah no sign of anything but the first wave around here, and even then, its all Thor, Cap & Iron Man. Have run into a few hulks and Loki's though. Anyone come across the Skrull wave yet?

Yep! Got four o' the damn things...whatta curse! I knew I'd fall into the trap. I was holding out to get a few of the Chitauri, but I guess I wanted some villain variety. Oh well. I like 'em.

I dont really get the time to buy from stores. So i mostly buy action figures online. And the one i bought recently was little expensive but it has Captain america, black widow, iron man and thor all in one pack. The figures are awesome with good articulation. Anyway, whats the news on avengers wave 4 collection?

The latest wave just started to show in my local Walmart. Picked up Widow, Fury, Chitauri & Movie Hawkeye. They were on rollback as well for $8.87 each so less of a sting than the usual $10+ price tag. No sign of the previous wave anywhere around here so still need a Skrull and Comic Hawkeye.

Crap...was hoping they'd have a restock due to the DVD/Blu-Ray or whatever coming out...rats! Only the deluxe figures. I was so ticked that the Chitauri with the air chariot had no knee or elbow articulation. What gives?! The other deluxes have it...why not him? This fills me with fanboy angst to the Nth degree. Peh!

The Chitauri would have been a buy many times over if it had articulation but since it doesn't it's just a pass figure for me.

They had a big sale at Walmart & Kmart when the movie came out on Blu Ray/DVD this week They had a lot of the figures. Yes, usually a little over $10, but with the sale they were a little less.

So laaaame! Found the single pack Chitauri and Nick Fury today. Wal-mart's are all too busy housing old stock to bother with new movie singles, so I turned traitor and went to KMart. I was astonished to see the single Chitauri was the same as the chariot one! No elbow or knee articulation...and the package totally C.T.s you into thinking the figure should unless you look at it good. Let's hope there's just some running change. I really wanted those guys.

Just came back from a trip to Fargo ND and it looks like Walmart has the Shield Hellicarrier on clearance for $45, so I picked one up.
Figures were also marked down to $4.85 each at Walmart, though non were to be found other the one Chitauri Deluxe figure & Chariot on clearance at Target that I bought.
