I prefer Mego personally, the Captain Action figures' bodies are a little bit out of proportion. On a figure that is supposed to be human that sort of thing really bothers me.

Nothing beats a Mego, imo, other than maybe superpowers and MOTU.

I'd go with Mego - smaller scale, easier to store away and whats more Captain Action's just some duff wannabe who dresses up as existing Superheroes! And it was clearly based on G.I.JOE/ACTION MAN...at least with those you can buy another doll and dress it in an enemy uniform, with Capt. Action its a bit rubbish because under any mask is.....Captain Action....groan...

You could always go with the mego-scale Captain Action by Cast-a- Way toys... But that is probably cheating. I love mine, especially the FX exclusive "stealth" Captain Action, his costume is all black w/ a GID logo. Plus a trench coat. Pretty sweet.
