ive seen these a few times before, AFAIK its just a slightly redesigned KO of Takara's Kronoform robot watches and their many bootlegs, which were originally from the Japanese Microman MicroChange series. ive never seen one in pkg tho, so no idea who made it or what name it goes by. I do like this version for its elbow joints, although the originals had hands.

i didnt notice the links in your first post (only the discription) the type i have are KO of the Kronoform robot watches type. i tryed doing a search on some of the sites i go to (even found 1 site which shows a ton of diffrent watch robots) but none which has the jointed arms, which looks dam neat. also noticed that yours seems to be longer vertically and thinner horizontally , whilest the Kronoform versions are the opisite ?

Wow, those are some great examples catgut, much nicer than my old beater . At first glance I thought the silver one was identical to mine but upon closer inspection I see several differences. Thanks for the photos, tons of fun! P.S. I have yet to figure out how to post pics directly onto the post so yea my links can get overlooked .

Hi, I have one of these STILL in the original packaging. My parents used to sell them at a local flea market here back in the 80's.

Had the black guy as a kid with the Quartz writing, and also one that transformed into a jet plane which was silver just like your robot. I remember getting it them either at a flea market or those Chinese store that used to sell a lot of Transformers K-O and battery operated robots. I got the black robot back by winning it on a Go-Bots lot, which I was pretty happy about Tonka's Go-Bots also did watch guys which were either red or blue (but I think there's more variation). He was named Tic Toc: Source: www.toyarchive.com

Loved these robot watches as a kid! Wish I would have saved more artifacts from my childhood. It's fun to look back on all these good memories as an adult LOL
