I would go back in time and simply buy lots of toys MOC and then sell them now for huge money. Certain Thundercats items and joes (like Snake Eyes with timber) would be huge money makers. oddly I'd make sure I kept the best copy I had of each figure for myself.
I would also have them make that last wave of thundercats figures, like the Mad Bubbler and the lunatacs

I'd aim for about 1984 and buy all the Lords of Light figures I could get my hands on. But if it was only one then the Topen figure. I've never seen one for sale and don't expect to have one in my collection.

If I had a time machine I would go back to when I was 1 and leave some notes for myself. Telling me to play with my toys nicely. Don't throw away the boxes they came in. When I'm not playing with them, I should keep them in bags, boxes, or whatever to protect them from dust. The ones I don't play with at all, I put them back in their original boxes and store them in the basement or attic. I never throw away or give away any of my toys. Don't sell any of them until you're 30. Then I would return to the present.

I'd go back and scoop up all the "stretch" characters I could find, just to have them for sale today. Stretch Batman=$15,000, Stretch Serpent=$15,000, Stretch Hulk=$10,000, etc. etc.

Wish I was collecting toys around the time some of the big retailers crashed and burned, like Gemco and Montgomerey-Wards. I remember getting a birthday gift of 20.00 and going to Gemco's in the mid 80's when they were running out of business and had everything on clearance. I walked out of there with 8 or 9 MOTU figures with that 20 bucks. Wow small world. I remember the very same clearance! Gemco 50% off going out of business. Late 80's or so. I was about 12. I'll never forget it. i told my mom I specifically wanted the Thundercats Thundertank. Well it was the first week of the clearance and they were only at 20% off or something like that, my mom said wait later in the week and the price would come down. I persisted in telling her that it would be gone by then. Well after school we went back and sure enough it was gone. There wasn't much left on the shelves I ended up getting the Mutant Fistpounder. I never really liked it but as a kid I didn't want to go home empty handed. If I could go back I would love to simply stroll through all those dept stores again and simply relive those memories. Just seeing G1 transformers and GI joes on the pegs again would be great! I remember seeing vintage jedi and Gi joes literally on the floor with red clearance tags. They overflowed from a bin at the thrifty drug store. Crushed bubbles from kids that stepped on them. So worthless back then! -Nick

I would have grabbed up all those amazing GoDaikin robots! Such amazing designs, and so amazingly expensive to acquire today.

I would have taken my most prized toys and put the in a box and hid them somewhere where they could not be thrown out. But then again is it the fact that they were thrown out that makes me want them back so much? I don't think so, they were just awesome.

Y'all are just silly. I would travel to the future and get an actual mech. You can have all the toys you want when you're riding in a giant weaponized robot.

I got rid of all my toys between 1985-1986 so it wouldn't really matter, unless I could go back in time and change my own mind about getting rid of all my toys then that would change things quite a bit. I also got rid of my comic book collection around this time as well which I only in the past few years have become okay with because now I know I wouldn't have a real easy way of storing them anywhere as my house can only hold so much. Of course that leads to the question of where all my childhood toys would go if I had kept them all plus added ones in my "adult" life. Man, maybe I shouldn't have gotten into this thread....
