Despite this line in its 3 versions is considered a knock off, they have lots of "original" heads, so we have a bunch of very collectable new characters , some of them are not very detailed but are damn cool! like Unihorn, the black Walph with silver boots, and the two dragon headed guys in the last picture. The dog guy and the indian guy are ok too.
What about Muscle Warriors another line easily misleading with GW/GF , this figures were made with aromatic plastic, so while you were playing with then you smelled a nice fragance, that was great, I still have two of them, you still can smell the nice aroma, and they are almost 20 years old!

good stuff Galaxy Warrior...but of course i have some questions... it would appear the first GH line has the best sculpts, but it's a little hard to tell...ugh the characters don't have names...?!? could you match up the numbers(can't really make them out) with the chacters that already exist in Galaxy Warriors and Galaxy Fighters and let us know how many "new" characters they are...how boring to only be able to refer to them by number...the horse lookin' guy looks "new" to me, a passing glance at the card backs makes me think there are a few others... it also appears they use the GW weapons, armor, and shields...any significant changes to the sculpts or "new" weapons ala Sun Hawk and Baltard's staff/halbred from GW... it would appear the GH lines two and three both use the same weapons as GW/GF...with the exception being the shields, which on line two have become even more simplified and by line three are totally dropped...any "new" weapons in either of these lines... thanks for the info...!!!

well muscle warriors are theyre own. but galaxy heroes are many different lines. all forms of combo figures are GH , full sliod bodies, half solid, no weps, inverted weps, soft weps, hard weps, you think of it its been in GH card. the same should not be said for MW it just happens that they were later repacked as GH. the first wave of GH were not like MW they were constructed from different matrial and molds. MW were brought about much later after the GW molds got around.

im sorry guys but your both wrong. if you put a gen 1 GH next to a MW ther are many differnecs. and to say if you put them together no one would tell the difference can be siad for GW and GF even though there are again many dfifferenecs. yes the later GH are exactly like MW but thats because they are re packed. and the chjaracters dont change because theyre all knock-offs of GW. plus GH have many more characters than MW they include the whole line of combo and some 1 shots that are all their own. they had at least 4 different sets of legs, bodie styles and so on. but the true line of GH is what should be the point of refernce and the other liens are just re-uses of the name and packaging.

jesse you of all people should know you cant just lump things together. thats how information gets lost. all of the points your attempting to make could all be said for GF GW which would set the whole knowledge of the lines back to the stone age. MW did do lots different. the acc for 1 are all new. yes some inverted, but other still new. gen1 GH had only 2 armors and were cast from GW making them a cross between a bootleg and a knock-off. MW actually use GW mold upperbodies. and all new sculpt heads. the GH baltard head is a direct copy cast of GW but MW are a resuclpt and is highly oversided. yes these in later years became used in GH packaging but thats doesnt mean they should be the same.
you dont consider a bootleg from china town that has tranformers art a hasbro transformer. so you shouldnt do that with a line that has a GH card. the GH card has been in constant use since 1985 and has as recently as 2 years ago. muscle warriors which appear to be far more common overseas were not a constantly rre released line.
you guys are being lazy.

I've searched through most of the threads here and I think/hope this is the right one to post in. Would greatly appreciate your input. Can anyone help me out with what I have here? PIC 1 - These guys are solid rubber. The bald guy's legs do not move but his waist does. He is not stamped. The Indian guy only has movement in his arms and neck. Stamped Hong Kong PIC 2 - Both are solid. Arms and legs move. Stamped Hong Kong. PIC 3 - Both are solid. Arms and legs move. Stamped Hong Kong. PIC 4 - Love this guy's head sculpt. Solid. Arms and legs move. Stamped Hong Kong.

Sorry, not much help here. The one on the right looks like one of these karate figures i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/toyspace72/Karate1.jpgThe head on pic 4 is fantastic! You need to tell the lazy eyed fool to get back out there and collect more bodies for the master! The bald guy in pic 3 is pretty neat as well. *edit* (LMK if you're thinking of parting with #4)

I thought they were wrestlers. The first one is Iron Sheik, right? I have him, Hogan, and I guess Andre.

He does look Iron Sheik-like. I thought most of the wrestlers had unitard like gear painted on their chests.

So, I'm done with MOTU, Blackstar, Warlord/Beasts for the most part. Now I have the "Galaxy bug".
But can anyone flat out explain what's up with GH's? It's my impression that they were released with many body styles:
1) all moveable parts like MOTU 2) everything moves except for the legs 3) only head and arms move (torso, pelvis, legs all one piece) 4) there are also these guys around who are all one solid piece with their arms raised!!!!
are these all Galaxy Heroes??? I can't believe out of the whole net, this is the only thing we have to go on for GHs!!! Thanks in advance!

My........ these forums move rather slow......... So, is there a picture gallery of GH's anywhere??? Other than scanning this site, there seems to be no good source of pictures for these guys. Perhaps they will soon get their own spot in the Figure guide??

You're awesome shup! Ask and I shall recieve, eh?! These photos will serve as my guide for months to come. Got about four of these guys, but I'll be damed if I can ever find any of the weapons!!!
I love the guy on the top left w/ the mustach. He's too cool for his armor! The all black goat is pretty wicked too.
There's a current batch on eBay, but the asking price is waaaaaaay too much! $45 for just three w/ no accessories! Geez!

Can anyone verify the guy on the left? I've seen the head somewhere before but can't seem to find it anywhere now. Is he a GH/MW or a wrestling figure? All the other GHs I have have a solid waist, while this guy has a twist waist. The blank belt has me thinking wrestler (unfortunately).

Appearantly he belongs to that same ko line that has characters resembling Hogan, Andre and Shiek. Is this guy shown above supposed to be Super-Fly Jimmy Snooka That's the only Hawaiian-esque wwf wrestler I can think of from the 80s. I think I've seen one that is supposed to be Big John Stud as well....... Does any one have anymore info on this line? Any other characters? There's not a lot of info in the wrestling threads about the MOTU wrestling KOs...... I know they're not Wrestling Champions(most the ones shown in some above pics) or Wrestlers Main Event (packaged two to a card and had GF heads)?

Yeah, we all know of or heard of various MOTU knock-offs and what not. Wow, it's so hard to keep track! Anyway, I recently won a set of carded He-man rip-offs called Galaxy Heroes. I've heard of them before (in different forms). No year or manufacturer on the package, but they are the solid, "hard body" style figures. They seem to be ever so slightly smaller in scale than the average MOTU or relative knock-off. The have movable arms and neck and come with the traditional chest piece, weapon, and shield.

According to the card back, there are eight figures...so I assume I can say I have a full set. I can also assume the accessories were randomly distributed, as are the different cards. One type has a blue field and the other has a red field behind the toy. Maybe ideally meant to designate bad and good warriors? There are four inhuman characters: canine beast, snake man, elf/ogre, and oriental dragon man. The elf/ogre seems to be like a caucasian Baltard from Galaxy Warriors/Fighters. There are four human-looking guys which seem to be very close rip-offs of Huk, Daton, and Triton head molds from the Galaxy Warrior/Fighter lines as well as an "indian" or native american style man.

Do you know the difference between a knock off and a bootleg? Well, Galaxy Fighters and Galaxy Warriors are a knock off of Masters of the Universe. Galaxy Heroes is a bootleg of Galaxy Fighters/Warriors, so to speak. They're inferior mold copies with less articulation.

Here is the cardback: As you can see, there is an assortment of eight figures. Along the bottom is the inventory of assumedly random accessories. I'm guessing they may have intended certain characters and accessories to be "evil" or "good". I sadly don't have the trapezoidally shaped chest harness, but I did see one on eBay shortly after.

I also, at one point, had six different types of Galaxy Hero guys. I had won them years ago on eBay, and actually opened them despite the fact they were MOC. The card art was similar, but no colored field behind the toy (if I remember correctly). There also was no print on the back of the card. The figures had articulated arms, necks, waists, and very tight ball-jointed hips. They came with a random shield and weapon, as well as the classic chest harness. The harness was partially colored either red and blue or red and green...well only the raised decorative elements (something similar to the "iron cross" on He-man's armor) were colored. I had a black wolf (like Walph/Anubi), red dragon (like Dragoon), purple "evil" unicorn, orange tiger (with a smaller head than the Galaxy warriors one), lion, and a goatman ( like a two-horned Ygg).
