It doesn't seem like they came out with very many different Corps figures in the 80s. Anyone know roughly around how many figures were released in the 80s? You would think they would have just been pumping them out the same as the Joes were. I know they did release more in the 90s though.

All told there are 158 different CORPS figs (built a spreadsheet checklist). However I haven't added in the precise year of each fig yet so I can't give a number of which were 80's and whatnot. I'll try to figure it out a little later today.

Didn't they start producing them in the late 80s, stop for awhile in the 90s then start again?

I picked up a Corps hovercraft that kinda looks like the Whale, on the weekend. I couldn't find any info on it on the net though. I will post a pic of it as soon as I can. It is actually a pretty cool vehicle.

I like these guys alot. New sculpts and old. I am trying to track down the oldest series of these guys with very little luck. I see them all the time but only one figure here and there...what I would like to get is about 50% of the figures in one score.
Anyone else like the new sculpts?
What about the old?
Update........I have scored several times on eBay. I am close to having about three quarters of these guys now.
The older guys are really cool funky colors and all!!!!!

I know what you mean about them being hard to find I don't really collect much Joe related stuff but I picked up a gold chrome guy at a toyfair who turned out to be a Corps figure from the Lazer Force line (1995). I like the look of the Lazer Force guys and would like to find some more from the line, but so far my Corps related searches have turned up nothing. I'm sure these guys must turn up in GI Joe lots all the time but as I don't check the Joe stuff they're proving more of a problem than I expected.

I like a handful of these figures but I don't really know all the names? What I'm trying to put together is all the Ninja variants they did, maybe I'll post a pic later on which ones I have.
Are you looking for any figures in particular Spillspleen?
Gort I actually have two of the Laser Force guys MOC they are Incenerator and Power Surge.

You know I thought I had more variants than 3 but oh well this is what I have of different Ninja variants. I'm looking for the light blue variant of the Corps Ninjas but for some reason I only see him in U.K. auctions and not really in any U.S. auctions. I also beleive that there is a solid Black variant and am not sure of any others?

Cool Ninjas. I have the two one the right and think there is at least two more of him from earlier sets, the first one you show I have never seen....
About the only way I ever see these Corps guys is mixed in Joe lots...
The figures I am looking for are any of the regular sculpts like these ninja but in the really bad colors of the 90's...so bright oranges, blues, greens, and sometimes pinks....any help?

Strangely enough this is my favorite vehicle they have made. They have released this one about a dozen times in many different packs and colors.

I haven't bought any of the new sculpts cause they just don't interest me really. I might change my mind if they decide to make a Ninja.

The new sculpts have a assortment of bad guys that are real nice...and for the price of these guys I can not say no, $.99 in the U.S.!!!

Here is my latest addition: I am trying to get one of each figure in each color variation, not sure if I need to have a set of weapons for each version as long as I have one of each accessory in each color. I think there is a Visionaries weapon in there as well, added bonus!!!!!

Great win, man. I was looking at it forever and finally did not put out a bid because I do not like to bid against my friends and one of them was working on that one.

I was watching that lot as well. I only needed four of the figures and that silver bike. I scored three of the figures in a seperate lot, but I still need that bike and the shirtless guy w/ yellow suspenders (Whipsaw). I usually don't get the vehicles unless they are for the S.T.A.R. force guys, but I dig the old fighter jet graphics on the bike. I am now only missing eight or nine Corps figures to have every variation of every figure. I'm only a few figures from completing the Emergency guys and Construction guys as well. I've got all of the Lazer Force guys moc, very tempted to rip them open. This has been an easy and fun line to collect, they're pretty cheap. I've only collected them for two or three months and have already about finished them. I actually started collecting them after reading this thread, I was hunting for something new to collect. The BioWing guys are my personal faves though. Thanks again Captain.

i used to have them theres a few different styles good and bad. they come in yellow, red and orange with black paint aps. the bad guys head kinda looked like the villain from captain power. i no longer own them so i cant post pix. theyre all built from modified deepsix v1 bodies. but im pretty sure they were star force. some came with little moon rovers.

yo cap. yeah i here you on your choices. thats kinda how i feel about the line. i really like the bright colored versions. fox, willie, junkyard and gasmask are like my favs. fox and willie were the firsts to be openly accepted in the joe forces.
the one thing i noticed about corps is the characters can very easily be articulated action force guys. especially in the releases before the mold changes. like hammer is totally skip.

I love that my Corps Military units can call in Lanards Action Rescue Squads for specific missions. There are even overlaps, ie: Hammer can be found as a rescue police inforcer in one of the sets. I have my firemen or medics on certain missions with my troops at times, like handling forest fires in California, etc...
So if my Avalanche and Cybor Trooper have a mission in Canada they can call on reinforcements from the Mounties.
That is something Joes do not have as much access too, civilian re-inforcements.

you know i always assumed who was good and who was bad from corps. but i was just reading through file cards and it doesnt seem as though anyone outside of willie is a badguy. whats up with that jeez overwhelming odds. poor willie's got everyone after him. i guess cobra didnt have enough money to outsource.
