Just noticed the new Thor figures in Walmart the other day. Had a quick look walking by, they look like something I would pickup in the future. Alot more interesting to me than any of the new Iron Man figures - to many Iron Man variants. Wave 1 Wave 2 Wave 3 Wave 4

I'm way more into the comic lines, I'm exited about the Destroyer that is supposed to come out in the second wave but these I'll wait for a two for one sale or other discount price to pick up.

I hear ya, I'll probably wait for them to go on clearance as well, $10 for a 3 3/4" figure in stores is just more than they are worth (especially when you know they will go on clearance eventually)

It's like last weekend all retailers got these and I paid 13 for Frost Giant and then found him for 9.99 at TRU. They are pretty cool figures and I hope they do this line like Iron Man 2 figures with plenty of villians and (worthy)variants of Thor. I jumped on some of them but will be waiting for a sale on the next big purchase of this line.

Just be careful. All of the non Thor figures are only 1 to a case.

If they had been able to get the Warriors 3 figures out on shelves in the week or two after the Thor movie came out, when I'd just seen it and was excited, I might have gone all in. Instead I've picked up a Destroyer and every other store is sitting on wave 1 so I probably with this line barring them going way below $5 on clearance.

They were slow on getting the Destroyer and Warriors 3 Wave out but they are still all quality molds and likely won't be peg warmers in my opinion. I wouldn't wait and chance them on clearance.

The problem is I haven't seen the Warriors 3 come out still. One store chain, Fred Meyer for my northwest people, has gotten the Sif wave. I did buy a Destroyer figure but only because it will look nice with my Universe figure. I also ended up picking up that waves Sorcer Loki because I didn't have a Secret Strike Loki. My excitement has just waned. The DVD even came out today and there was no new stock on the shelves I hit this morning. I just don't care that much about the movie figures.to wait around and spend time hitting stores in anticipation of new product.

I complained a little today at ToysRUs because there were no figures past wave 1 and the Pile of Thor BD/DVDs was nearly blocking the isle. I did see on fireblast destroyer at a Walmart today. I hope to spot some of wave 2-4 before Christmas.

Not really my usual thing, but I randomly picked up a Frost Giant today. (driving all week away from home for work, needed figure therapy) I was tossing up between that and Odin, but I don't dig those oversized gimmicky weapons. And yes, the (Big W) pegs were literally bulging with a gazillion wave 1 Thors and only 1 each of Loki, Odin & Frosty. Was tempted to get all three, but nah... (to many Starks put me off Iron Man toys too)

Anyone else think the action-feature weapons in this line are a bit much? I had a hands-on 'play' with Odin today and I couldn't see anything past the weapons being awkward & bulky. Frost Giants the only one worth his salt in this line IMO.

Has anyone on this site seen the Walmart exclusive Thor or Loki for 3 3/4 figures? I have never seen these in the store around my way and I was hoping maybe somebody around here could help me out if they have. I would of course pay the shipping and if a trade is desired then lets talk. Also has anyone ever found Heimdall in retail?

No, no, and no. I did look a lot and they did not make it to the shelf around here. I found all the rest from this line. Sif and Fireblast destroyer came from TRU. I am hoping that the others like Heimdall make it to the discount TJX stores.
Walmart does have a few of the 6" Thor and Loki but I don't collect those.

If you want to trade send me your list or you can have them at cost.

Have never seen any of the figures past the 1st wave in any stores in my area (TrU, Walmart or Zellers) until today that is. Giant Tiger just got in a few of the Wave 2 deluxe figures and I was able to score a Heimdall.
Here's hoping that Walmart still has cases in the back to clear out as the few they had on the shelves were marked down to $5 each and are pretty much gone. Wouldn't mind a set of the Warriors 3 and Destroyer. They may have learnt their lesson with the X-Men Origins Wolverine figures a year or two back, where they had tons to unload for $2 a figure.

I searched for Sif , Hogun, Fandral, Volstagg, and both versions of Destroyer . I found most of them at TRU. I am 99% sure those stores I went to never got Heimdall or King Loki and King Laufey. Heimdall is on his way to me from a friend in British Columbia. I refuse to by the 2 kings on ebay. Maybe they will show up somewhere.
It would be funny if Heimdall is only ever found in Canada. So far most of the 4" Shocker figures (from the Spider Man line) have come from Canada. I really don't mind this trend. It gives Canadian collectors some new items to trade away.

Hit up a Real Canadian Super Store location today, and noticed Thor figures were on sale for $5 each. The few on the rack looked to be the regular Thor variants, untill I looked through them and found a Hogun at the back. Before I left, took a quick look up and saw an unoped box of the figures at the very top of the shelf. Climbed up and brought it down (knocking off the light panel cover in the process, oops). Was able to score King Loki, Laufy, Volstagg, Destroyer, a 2nd version of Odin and a version of Thor with his helmet. Sounds like it was a Wave 3 case but the Odin looks to be the one from Wave 4?
It was a pretty lucky find, though still need Fandral (from Wave 2), Sif, the variant Destoryer and 3rd variant Loki (from Wave 4). Gonna check my local RCSS on Thursday, maybe they have some more that I can use to swap for the ones I need.

Walmarts are blowing these out at $5 as well. There is a huge mix of them..I never paid any attention as I get sick of hum-drum movies coming out and the box retail carrying pegs and pegs full of these for $10 to $12 a figure. These are hardly worth $5 each in my opinion. I do like and collect the regular Marvel line and cant understand why these movies are not primed to pump that ongoing line instead of the movie lines...
Anyone want me to keep an eye out for anything?

King Loki and Laufy are the ones to watch for, would be good trade bait or make ya a few $$ to sell them off.

I will probably be looking for King Laufy and King Loki for a while. They are way overpriced on ebay. Nothing has changed around here for Thor toys in over 4 months. No sales , nothing moving on or off the shelf. It is really weird.

i would keep an eye out at any dicount stores that get in action figures. They have been showing up in Canada at Winner's (picked up my Fandral there last week), Giant Tiger and such though most places are near sold out around here (even TrU).

Besides Target once in a while I haven't seen any other store around my way restock on this line. I sure hope they come to Marshalls or TJMaxx at 5 dollars each.

I don't normally collect any of the Marvel stuff, but I got a Frost Giant the other day for $5 at my local K-Mart. It really is one heck of a nice sculpt, I think I might make him into some kind of Cobra La Soldier.
