I came across a few Websites on the Internet that said this line was based on the movie, when it looks like the figures were actually based on the animated series. Either way, some of these are kinda cool. I just picked up a large lot yesterday at a garage sale for $9. I got the Firehouse, Ecto1 (badly damaged), Ecto2, Ecto 3, Ghost Sweeper and about 10 figures of ghosts and the Ghostbusters themselves. I also got the Water Zapper & Proton Pack. I found a fairly good Website with pics of most of the toys MOC but many of the pictures are smaller or unclear Click Here. If anyone collects this line loose, I would love to get some pics from you and add a section in the archive.

The Firehouse is only missing the trap & sign. Hopefully I can track them down and complete it.

These parts come up frequently on ebay in lots and such. You shouldn't have a problem getting them cheap.

I had quite a few of these as a kid. It was a fun toy line. I loved how most of the ghosts could be used with the ecto plasm (slim) to splatter the ghost busters. I think the first one I ever got was the Stay Puffed Marshmellow man. For some reason I burried it in some time capsule box in my parents back yard. I'm sure it's still out there some where, but my parents would get pissed if I started digging up their lawn for a toy

The filmation stuff goes for a ton in the box. I have gotten a few steal but I am dying for a complete Ghost Command playset. I am sure I am gonna have to pay through the nose for it.
Also the Ghost Buggy and Bone Troller are real tough finds.

Ok....So I got my Filmation's Ghostbusters Bone Troller playset in the mail yesterday. Let me tell you...that thing is huge!!! It is over 14 inches tall in the back and is about 12 inches wide. What a beautiful design!!! The inner piece comes out to reveal a giant Skull and winged crossbones sculpted on the floor. There is also a trap door on the back and a removable slide whistle. The Screen in the middle of the playset lights up and has a spinning wheel to show the different bad guys reporting in to Prime Evil. I will take some pics to show you how huge it is. This is such and undervalued line. The figs, vehicles, and playset are some of the best out there. Here is the control art if you don't know what the heck I am raving about.

That is one sweet playset I am finding more and more that most of the pieces i need from the lines i collect are rarer ones. I have been buying less on Ebay, but spending more when I do

I just bought a large lot on EBAY that had a BAD Title and I got the entire lot pretty cheap....
I bought it primarily for the original 4, because they are complete with the ghosts and proton packs. If you need any of the other stuff let me know.
I just saw the same original 4 complete figs come off of EBAY for well over $100. Just keep looking, I got luck on this lot.
Later and happy hunting Rob

I have about 3/4 of the figures, a few vehicles and the Firehouse. I heard somewhere that the Ecto Bomber was one of the harder to find items, anyone know for sure? Figure wise I supose the Ecto-Glow figures would be the toughest to find.

Ecto Glow and Slimed Heroes are the 2 hardest lines to get. I think the ecto Bomber is hard the reason I say that is I NEVER see it on ebay. ( I got mine for free as a lady I worked with was going to throw out because her kids out grow em FREE HAUL!!!!!!! 4 or 5 Cars, Complete Firehouse MINT, 20ish busters, and 10 to 15 Ghosts alot was in great shape but alot had to be upgraded.)
As of right now I have... Heroes (100% Complete LOOSE AND MINTY!) Ghosts (Missing 3 Slimer with Proton Back, Sludge Bucket, and Nasty Neck) Cars and Playsets(Ecto 1A and Ecto 500) Role Playing (Not sure if I want to get it all)

I love the fright features figures especially ray Stantz. It was one of those lines where they didn't rehash the figures too much. I know they rereleased the original 4 a couple of times with new paint jobs but they really changed the figures of the characters a lot with new head sculpts for the different versions. Fright Feature Ray is my favourite followed by Fright Feature Egon. The ghosts were really cool too, even if most of them were never in the cartoon they made it to where your figures always had a job fighting these big ghosts and monsters. The firehouse is one of the best playsets ever made. You could even bust through the door with Ecto-1 on the way to bust some ghosts.

Yeah I collect this line as well. I have the four original figures plus all 4 ghosts and intact proton packs. I have Slimer with his 3 food pieces, Stay Puft, Complete Firehouse and Ecto-1 as well/. Also have a screaming Heroes Janine MOC as I never liked the other version of her. Give me trashy Janine any day!!! This is a line I was actually very picky with. I really am a hardcore GhostBuster fan and want my toys to stick pretty close to the movie. I think the new necca toys fit in really great especially since Stay{uft is in close scale to the FireHouse.

Its to bad they didn't make Stay Puft larger in the original line. They could've made him huge and of softer squishy rubber or something so kids could beat the hell out of it and throw it around.

I just started on this line. The last 3 sets of ghostbusters guys and the bomber are the hard bit. I already picked up the rest quite easy

You know it seems the Slimed Heroes are kinda tough to find, been trying to piece together my collection without using Ebay, and still missing quite a few of them. Only RGB toys I had to resort to Ebay for were a complete set of Ecto Glow MOc figures (I got them all from one seller at a decent price).

I have odds & ends laying around that I will eventually put together as some sort of set. But I do have the boxed proton pack, but I may be missing the PKG meter, I'd have to check. I did finish my complete ecto-1, when I got the roof seat with guns from a thrift store last week. I will keep you all posted when I get a complete line. I find that ghostbusters are so abundant at YS & FM around me that completing a loose set is very easy. minus some glow in the dark figs and vehicles of course.

I use to own a lot of Real Ghostbuster toys. I had the Fire House, Ecto-1, Ecto-2, Proton pack, Ghost trap, P.K.E. meter, some action figures, and some vehicle & weapon toys I don't remember the names of.

That's a pretty sweet deal. I've been out scoping for the doors to the ecto 1 and the wheels for the plane

Back in the early 90's I had four cases of the Ecto-Glow figures! I sold them off pretty quickly and pretty cheaply, too. Wish I still had 'em!

I bought a lot of toys and video games this weekend. First thing I noticed, is that the NES games had the info on the back labels in French as well as English. Then I realized an Ideal board game I got had all French writing as well.
Anyway, I got a 1986 Slimer figure too (the one with the Proton pack). I don't remember seeing that figure often and all the examples I see on eBay have French writing on the card and mostly from Canada.
So is this figure an exclusive to Canada or something?
