Treasure?! From the lost temples? Which temples? Those temples? Ohhhh, yeah...THOSE temples...gotcha!!! Love these guys to death. I mean, just look at them. Probably the classiest looking Masters of the Universe knock offs ever...at least in the "mini" variety. Treasures of Those Lost Temples: WARRIORS (figures with action) Legend has it they were actually made in the 90s even though they look to be out of the 80s. I have yet to confirm. No markings of date or manufacturer. Darn it! I've known about these little buggers for years, but never pursued 'em 'til recently when the urge to collect small scale MotU knock offs hit me. Apparently, they come in double and single packs. They card art is the same. These come with the classic chest harness, a shield, a tiny laser gun, and some kind of melee weapon. Ironically, there seems to be no "action" located within the blister bubble. False advertisement! I'm not sure if there are any variations. Kind of an obscure line, so probably very hard to find out. At least six styles of figure are supposedly available. No names, no backstory for these guys. Hmmm......inspired by that Nickelodeon game show, maybe. Legends of the Hidden Temple?!?! I wonder.......... Anyways, like I said, these guys are classy with a capital "K". Look at that construction! Hardcore, baby! Some of the heads seem to be "inspired" by the die cast Galaxy Warriors head designs. Much like the large Galaxy Warriors/Fighters/Heroes and their peers, these fellas have the classic colorless with crappy artwork cardback to advertise the other characters. I freakin' love that art. Disgustingly beautiful! Either the artist was a lazy underpaid hack, or a genius...I'm kiiiinda leaning toward the genius angle myself. These make me think of weird Mesopotamian warriors or something. No names, just numbers. Ooh, unacceptable! I'll have to mete out some monikers for these guys! I'm supposed to be getting some more some time soon. I was gonna wait to show these off, but I just have come to love these so much...that I...I just could not wait!!!

Yeah I love these guys. And youre right, the card art is ingenious! I love their 12-pack stomach muscles and their weird-ass little club hands. Thanks for sharing the cardback!

I wonder if these are the male counterparts to "The Forgotten Warriors of the Universe" They both have the horrible art on the back, they both have warriors in rainbow, they have both been lost or forgotten and these are he-man type and the forgotten warriors look alot like Teela Knockoffs. Not exact but close!

T'was actually gonna get around to mentioning that. Ya beat me to it! Sadly, those gals are actually large scale figures ( I own one). I guess they can be like giants or something compared to these guys. Maybe they are the goddesses of those lost temples these guys hang around in! How mystical.......

***BREAKER BREAKER*** We got us a hot case o' Lost Temple Fever...do you copy? Oh-ho, yeeeeah baby! I g-g-gots me some of THAT lost temple fever. Only one pill's gonna cure my ill: more of these sweet little figures! So far, I have four of the six (supposed) characters. Apparently, there are color variations. Now I gotta hunt down a version of the other two guys I don't have...but for now, I'll pass off the variations as separate characters.

I gotta get some shots up of these fellers out of the packages and geared up...too bad the camera I'm borrowing seems to be "dying"? Eh, technology...hopefully just needs new batteries...until tomorrow!

As promised...had myself a little fun with these guys! Could not wait to tear 'em open (kept the two-pack sealed...for now). As crummy as expected, but in a good way. Good range of movement. Shields clamp on pretty well. Weapons need to really be jammed in their little malformed hands BUT GOOD or they'll pop right out. Armor fights okay, but doesn't fasten all the way in the back. I noticed the two-pack quality is much lower...mold seems degraded...hands and feet are small/thin-looking. Seems have flaps of excess plastic. Some of the accessories are marbled and look as if they were made of recycled plastic. I noticed that the blister bubbles tend to be partially lifted. I'm not sure what to blame it on...quality? Handling? Storage? Who knows. Sadly, some accessories must have snuck out of the package due to this. Oh well. Each guy is supposed to come with a shield, armor, laser pistol and I assume one melee weapon. All my figures came with the mace...no swords! By the way...looks like Deadpool's figure might have different arms! Hmmmm...more variations? What wonders! I seek the knowledge of the ancients. Oh, mighty oracle...give me the answers I so crave!!! At least I've got some guys to keep my Temple Warriors company. The 80s gave us some sweet die-cast Galaxy Warriors, various mini versions of other Masters of the Universe knock offs, Fantastic Stars, generic wrestler "warriors", and all kinds of guys for them to fight. Methinks a raid on Castle Zendo might be in order, eh? Moohoohahahahaha!!!!!!!!

We-heh-hell...looks like Christmas done came early...and look what ol' Santy Claus got the Count...more TREASURES OF THOSE LOST TEMPLES: WARRIORS Yesssss....the power...I can fell it flowing through me! Now I have all six characters! The planets are in proper alignment! I am now a Lost Temple Master...I suppose the authorities should be notified so that the gods can deliver my mystical helmet-mask and chest harness! Ahhhh, feels good to get the whole set....bah, I know variations seem to exist, but as far as I can tell with this obscure line, nothing major. I can rest easy! The long sleepless nights of yearning are over. I can yearn for other things now...so much other yearning to be done! Here are more of my precious little pillagers freed from their paper and plastic prisons! Let the looting of THOSE lost temples begin anew!

Okay, two of the figures' heads seem to be modeled after or copied from the die-cast Galaxy Warriors figures. Here's the cardback from the metal guys' package with all the characters. Evil Karzu seems to share a head with "554" while Lava Monster does with "552"...hmph! I do not own an Evil Karzu figure, but I do have a Lava Monster...here's a side-by-side comparison shot! Okay, we totally need to see a group shot, don't we? Yeah, we do...oh, do we ever! Behold, the Temple Warriors! Whoooooooa temples!!! Here they are in action...together at last...in search of their precious, precious treasures from those lost temples. Now, those number-names simply shall not do...no sir! I must bestow upon thee, names worthy of the most dastardly plunderers in the universe! 551, you shall become PILFROS! 552, you will be HOARDAR! 553, you will be known as ABSCOND-O! 554, you shall take the name PLUN-DREAD! 555, you take the title LOO-TORR! 556, you, of course, shall hereby be SNATCHMEISTER! Now...go forth...AND PILLAGE!!! MOO HOO HA HA HA HA!!!!

Figured it was about time I updated this old thread again...yepper! I had gotten a hold of this a while back and never got around to posting it. Anyway, here we go...another version of Treasures of Those Lost Temples!!! That guy has been long since opened! I took that way back when I got it for the purpose of reference. A bit more blurry that my usual crap photography...sorry! As you can see, those weird mini Galaxy Warriors and Fighters got released under the TOTLT banner as well! I had actually caught a few examples on eBay some time back, but the seller wanted big money for 'em. Near as I can tell, they never sold and never got relisted. Not too long after, I had gotten this one from a fellow collector for a much more reasonable price. The card is the same setup, except the general color scheme is altered. It is also smaller as you can see in the above photo in front of the other TOTLT card back. You can see the unnamed cast of characters. Hmmm...not all the Galaxy Warrior/Fighter minis I've seen are shown...I wonder.... So, as it turns out...these weird mini KOs are indeed also Temple Warriors! I've seen figures with the Batoon, Huk, and Robic heads, but they are not featured on the card back I have. I also have a non-winged helmet "Warlord" and Anobe not shown. Part of the line? I wonder if these minis were released under other names in different packaging. Not out of the realm of possibility. I've also seen the die-cast Galaxy Warriors released straight-up on similar Temple Warrior cards...with the same colors as their original release.

The Robic head I have is a wrestler. Haven't seen a Temples Warriors version, but that would be awesome!

You''re right, these guys have a sort of distinguished aire to them. More lovers than fighters perhaps? They have people who do those sorts of things for them. I do like these guys actually, they have tons of character.

Oop! Almost forgot to add this guy to the mix...it's the mini Spikes figure! I actually never really had any of the larger, "normal" MOTU KOs as a youth, but I had one of these. Nice to get him back. I really have no memory of the package...coulda swore I bought it out of an open box, sans accessories. My brother had the mini Magnon/Daton. I just need the mini Huk so freakin' baaaaad!!!
