Thundercats was one of the few cartoons that my wife watched when see was a kid. Since I've taken over most of the apartment with my stuff( Joes, Transformers, Super Robots, ect).... I was trying to pick up some Thundercats stuff for her. Not that I don't want Thundercats stuff of my own, it just gives me an excuse to buy them One thing I really want to get her is a Sword of Omens. The old plastic one from the 80's that made sound. It's one of the few toys from the 80's that she had. Whenever I mention Thundercats, she brings it up. I think I'm a pretty good husband, I've learned to take the hints I saw a sealed one sell on Ebay for $200. Is this right!?! How much should a nice working loose one run me? And would anyone have an extra lying around that they'd like to sell me?? ;D Thanks in advance!!!

They do go for that amount if not more sometimes. Thundercats toys in general are HIGHLY collectible and eBay pretty much dictates the price on these toys.

Yeesh, even loose ones are going for a good $100. I guess I've be crossing my fingers for a flea market/ garage sale find. ;D I did have another question though... I have a Thundercats micro playset that I can't find any info on. It's basically a room with two big plastic doors with a large Eye of Thundera on the two doors. There's a little lever in the back that activates a platform inside. I have had zero luck finding any info on it or any of the micro line for that matter. It has Telepix markings and a big honking Eye of Thundera on it, so I'm assuming it's Thundercats Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Sounds like the Eye of Thundera playset. Are the doors made of clear plastic? I found it in Lee's AFN&TR issue #77 page 27 (March 1999).

Sure enough its the eye of thundera playset...as far as a MIB Sword of Omens on an american box the most recent one sold for over $600. With foreign boxes you may be looking at paying over $200 and a loose for anywhere between 100-150. Check out www.thundercatslair.org for more info on toys and the forums at www.thundercatslair.org/forums

a Mint in Box Plush Snarf and what a bargain it was. I never thought i could get my hands on one but after almost 2 years of searching online and Ebay i have finally got him. This is the first time i have spotted him on Ebay in that time. Only 2 that i know of have sold through Ebay including this one and another one at a online store. Thats pretty rare IMO

Nice score and at a good price to. I had a chance to buy a loose one off a guy but passed because everything in his house smelled like smoke.
