I remember having this as a kid. does anyone know what it is? It transforms into a truck, you push the buttons and he transforms and looks like the hands were missles? Thx click the picture for a bigger pic

Can't remember what it's called if it's the one I'm thinking of. I know a guy who has one in the box still for sale. I believe I've seen them in 2 different boxes, maybe even different molds.

pretty sure it was made by grandstand - there was a whole load of large but pretty lame motorised transformers knock offs that came out- came in big window boxes

That's Daijim Robot Car, originally produced circa 1983 by Yonezawa, who were best known for their tin robots of the '60s. It was sold in several countries under its original name by various distributors, and as Proteus said, was also licenced by Grandstand as part of the UK Convertors line (as Betatron). In the US it was sold as Trans-Bot-3 in Village Toy's Convert-A-Bots line. As far as i know, all official versions look exactly the same, so it may be hard to tell which series you have.
