humm this is a line ,i can remember as i had them when i was a kid . im sure thay were caled action jackson ,but thay were not the action man size . the ones i remember were small kits ,were you built the bodys yourself (came in a box about the size of a family pack of matches ..the big box of matches?,). there was a back and front ,place the arms and legs in place and close the front of the body to the back ,then you pop the head/neck straigth though the body and it keep it in place (also the arms and legs had joints at elbows and knees ,). thay also came with items (the snow type came with skis and stuff )(the rescue one came with med. stuff) . came anyone remember em or know of a site about them ?
hi centurn ,thanks for the link ,but no these arnt them . the ones i remember were well build up kits (even the figure you had to make ),all the acsesorys came on mold trees (bit like a small g i joe dose ) ,and there about the same size if not a bit smaller than a g.i.joes figure
its the same here ,i can remember em , even see them in my memory (lol though of drawing a pic to show what there line ,but i dount itll help ). i remeber the figures were all the same mold . the heads/neck were the same on all ,but the bodys were diffrent colours . i had a white 1(that i think was the ski medic) and blue and im sure thay did a red it must be about over 20 year old (im 33)and i had em when i was at junior school ,could be older than that ?

Wow two mysteries solved, thanks gort. Do you have any other info on this line of Heroes by Hestair. I noticed they are similar to Catgut's figures but you are certainly right they are different. At least I have a name for them now. Any more information would be icing on the cake.
definitly i think these were posable the first action figure i ever got (least which i can remember) i though thay were great also at the time pritty cheap to buy, i rember haveing the white, blue, red and yellow ones. i never new there were so many sets and even vehiles and bases !!. that MAC looks dam good too, i bet it would cost a fortune to get em now
