The skeleton dudes don't have weapons.. Unless you have carded reference, how do you know?

How do you know there the original weapons or that he didnt come with weapons when no one seems to know who the figure is ?

OK, we have differing opinions posted.
Ghoul, if you have one that came with weapons, please post it and whether they potentially belong with the figure can be decided from there.
There is no sense bantering the topic if a picture of the item in question has not been posted.

Found this out today
"Hello and thanks for your question. I wish I could help you more. I just know that I bought him back in '97 at what I seem to recall was a KayBee outlet shop near the border of Utah & Idaho. The package just had a painting of the same figure, but I can't remember the name it said on it. He has no markings on him except for "CHINA" on his inner thigh. He didn't come with anything either, no weapons."

Does that mean you can confirm a name to go with this mystery toy? Or produce a pic of him in a package showing that he came with accessories?

Were these guys made in the 1980's or 1990's. Better yet, were any of them made in the 80's?

From everything Ive gathered they came out in the 90s and most likely the later 90s I would think if they had come out in the 80s they wouldnt be as obscure as they are.

This thread has gotten to be really boring. I have the figure and don't care what it's called or what it came with, because it's a knock-off. It's probably called "skeleton" or something like that. The names usually aren't that creative.
I personally enjoy the thrill of the hunt in finding out what a line is called. Why spoil the fun of the search? Just because it's a forum of members doesn't mean that each member has to spoon feed everything they know about a line.
What people should be mad about are the members that are bragging about knowing the name of the line and what weapons they came with. That to me is childish and lame. If you are doing this, you deserve what ever replies you get.

If members want to post pictures of batches of weapons I am happy to identify them. Skullbooska you mentioned you had a box of knock off weapons put up a picture I am sure I can identify at least 1 of them

Skullbooska you mentioned you had a box of knock off weapons put up a picture I am sure I can identify at least 1 of them If you are serious about this, Cyberwolf76, there are many pages in the ID section that have photos of unidentified weapons. Have a look. Edit: I see you have noted the ID section and contributed there. Thanks. As for the rest of the thread, unless you have something to add about the figure and weapons in question, don't bother to post. This has gone on for 3 pages of "I know and won't tell" and complaining afterwards. I would like to keep it open in the event someone wants to relent and post the needed id. Otherwise I am going to lock the thread.

Heres a thought... upon close inspection, Skully is identical to my Gargoyle knock off figure. Same body, same "underpants", same belt, same arm bands, same large head type, etc... Also, as written above, the original Skull figure was sold in the late 90's and had a card with a painted version of himself on it, exactly like the gargoyle card., and sold at Big Lots, which is where GArgo here was purchased (ignore the Wallmart sticker).. So Im going out on a limb here and saying that Toy Things (the company that made the gargoyle) made Skully... sounds viable to me. And they are identically bodies in every aspect.

Probably a Skeleton Warriors knock off...considering Gargoyles and TMNT both had knock offs with this "MotU" style body. Given the cheap-o nature of such things...I wouldn't be surprised if they had versions of this skeleton man with AND without weapons!

By the by...saw about two of these skeleton men loose on eBay yet again. Hmmm, so many around the same time? Still going for around a hundred bucks and up, too! Pfff, truly...I need to forget about owning one of these, unless I happen upon one for 50 cents at a yard sale!

I may be on to something here. I was talking to a friend of mine about this guy and he seemed to remember it from a line called "skull" something... so using the other great "toys n things" figures that i own, i started listing possibilities and googling around and then this sweet nugget appeared. Look at that card! that looks like Skully to me! That same buddy said he also remembered the bendy version pictured... What do you guys think. I also attached my carded Gargoyle protector as a card art/comparison. Again, all the "toys n things' figures i have (the gargoyle, skully, the troll force, etc...) all have the exact same body type, same arms, same legs, same articulation, and same oversized, disproportaionate heads...

Also, if you google "skull force" and motu or something, a few blogs come up that talk of a "black and white painted skeleton" he-man knock off figure from a series called "skull force". just saying.

LOL, and if we keep discussing it like this it will soon be worth a thousand bucks. See why we don't do that anymore? THIS AUCTION is the kind of crap you end up harvesting.
