Actually, Tanystropheus really existed. It was a rather small animal living in the Permian period, actually before the dinosaurs. Tanystropheus holds the record of the animal with the longest neck compared to its body, although its neck had only few, very long vertebrates (like the giraffe who has seven vertebrates, like all mammals); so, its neck was really stiff.

I have been trying to track down some of the harder to get Jurassic Park dinosaurs over the past year, and I haven't been able to find any leads on this guy. He came in a two pack, with another difficult to find dino, but I all I ever see on ebay is the human that was packed with them. Can anyone give me a ballpark estimate how much this guy will set me back if i do find one? Thanks! I don't mean to hike his price up either by asking this, but it's just that he's a pain to find I'm just curious if it's a lost cause.

Hi! Here's a weapon I found on a sidewalk that had been lying there for months without being picked up. Finally, I was to one to pick it up, before somebody could smash it under his/her shoe. Thinking of putting it in my trade list. But before that, I'd like to have a clue of what it could be. Anyone recognises it?

I have noticed an new interest in the Jurassic Park lines since the show Terra Nova was on primetime. Last month I found most of the compound and it still had the sound in perfect condition. If any one has the compound I think it is ha-larious that the voice of all the speaking parts also does the dinosaur roar. It is by far one of the best playsets I ahve ever had in my possesion. If I was a more dedicated fan to JP it might rank as the best playset ever made. Is JP the only line that has made a Jeff Goldblum figure? I guess the only other one that might have been made would be the Fly but I don't pay any attention to monster lines so I wouldn't know. Did any one pick up the modern JP figures on ebay that were scheduled for release but didn't make it to shelves? They are just like the modern joe lines, so much so I believe they share many of the same parts.

I had one of those Jeff Goldblum figures but sold it recently. There was a little remorse I must say as the likeness was really perfect.

Thanks mrjayberry I had no idea there was a Independance Day line. I think JP did a much better job on his likeness

I think especially the smaller pack in dino's are hard to get. Also the red Pachycephalosaur is way harder to get than the green ones.
As for the humans, series two, at least in Europe, is hard to come by. I see you have Ellie Sattler (darker vest and white shoes) and Robert Muldoon (green & black) from series two at least.
Other than that, nothing really jumps out as uncommon.

Other than that, nothing really jumps out as uncommon. The Velociraptor may jump out at you, they are known to do that .

Glad someone bumped this. I have that Tanystropheus guy, as well as a few others. Probably going to throw them on Ebay now that I know their worth something, since I don't collect them.

Tanystropheus is too small. But it is interesting.

Man Ive been wanting some of those ID4 toys since the movie came out! lol I really just want the micro alien ship, and an alien
As for JP I have a series 1 Alan grant, which I love because its the same costume as the Alan Grant from the Jurassic Park SNES game, and a series 2 Muldoon with the green and black colors. I also have a Tyrannasaur from jp III that roars.
