Astro Dinos is the official name in Germany for Dinosaucers. And afaik they were sold as Astro Dinos here. The blue one is cool, never seen that line before.

not exactly a Dinosaucers KO, more like a dinosaur themed TMNT KO. presumably from the same series as the 3 TMNT style ones Ghouldrool posted in this thread back at the beginning. there is also a 5th figure i have seen. if anyone has any of the others,

Got this guy recently, he's Brachio, from the Yolanda colored series of figures. He's definitely my favorite find of the year so far!

Hi guys,
Im new here from New Zealand.
I love Dinosaucers and have a set which includes
Tricero, Styraco...
as well as some exotic space ships and Dinosaucer prototypes by Galoob
a Board Game
4 spanish annuals
8 cards that change from Dinosaucer to Dinosaur.
Theyre awesome.
if this series came out again it could be so much cooler...more focus on Dinosaur races vs Dinosaur races as in countries on Reptilon. Ill upload photos if you want to see....

holy crap dude, are the Bronto and Quackpot figures prototypes from the small unreleased line? Wow! Great score man, if I may ask, did you purchase those years back on ebay auctions labelled as prototypes, or did you find them in the wild? I'm a huge Dinosaucers / Dinosaucers Knock offs fan. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! It was from a private sale from a guy who had been given them from a former Galoob employee. I actually have Gengis Rex, Stego, Bronto Thunder, Bonehead, Allo, Akylo, Plesio and Quakpot. The best part is they come with 4 fighter space ships that hold 2 figures and have weapons etc. Attachments:

To be honest Im trying to find out more about these prototypes. Theyre so perfect they were used for the selling point by Galoob. I wonder how many were actually produced.

Those photos are AWESOME!!!!!! and a great reference! Its a pity that Galoob never went forward with the toys and the series as this would really juiced up the popularity!

You have that HUGE Glasslite Brazilian Bronto Thuunder!!! Thats fantastic. My favourites of your collection is the 7 cm line L to R of red Bronto-thunder, Tricero, Allo etc... as the uniforms are correct and for some of them the colours are correct. My Tricero and Styraco are perfect to their TV show look. Ill pull out my space ships and prototype figures and take photos for you today!

I'm insanely jealous dude, those proto figures are so ridiculously cool! Thanks for the pics! I have the Board Game also, but it's sealed and I don't want to open it up. I probably spend at least an hour a day looking for new Dinosaucers stuff, and it's slim pickings online. You don't run into many fans/collectors of Dinosaucers. Great collection dude!

The board game is basically the board with some stickers (unused) and some dice...nothing else...the best part is the outer box. Cheers for the comments on my collection. I wonder how many small prototypes they actually made....do you have an idea? Theyre super detailed and articulate.

I don't believe they made any more small prototypes than the ones you have. There was a large mountain prototype playset made for the small figures though. I think there were other large 8 inch figures such as Ankylo, Plesio, and Stego. I don't really know for certain though.

You'd be excited to know I think youre wrong...as far as I know there were more ships....as Ive seen them for purchase. I think possibly they made at least 5 sets...as they were the photo shoots and for toy conventions.... Also there was another prototype toy set in another size- Ill find out more and tell you

Sometimes I run around the neighborhood at night all dressed in black singing the DINOSAUCERS theme-song while holding the spaceships...NOT! lol BUT theyre so perfect in every way....its so weird no one bought into these smaller toys which in my opinion are better.... Attachments:

Hello all !
I have the complete Glasslite Dinosaucers set (five and the Rex variant) and some extra figures...
I'd like to congratulate Celsius for his wonderful prototype collection ! One of these dinos I really never saw before.
I've been looking for the other three unproduced figures to complete my 8" set (Plesio, Stego and Ankylo). Unfortunately I never saw these figures avaiable...I even don't know how many diferent prototypes were created by Galoob, before sell the molds to Glasslite...

Thanks for your answer, Celsius !
Infact, I saw two red figures in your pictures that I never saw before....I think you have all unproduced mini fugures and 4 vehicles ! Your collection is impressive, my friend ! I think some Galoob former employees sold these prototypes and unproduced figures to private collectors....
Do you have the unproduced 8" figures too ?

Just goto Alex Bickmores Super Toy Archive. He has all the pics and info on the Unproduced Dinosaucers. I know for a fact there's at least 2 of each larger Galoob prototype figures in collections and the mini figures and ships are super rare with 1-3 of each (depending) out there. Only one of the mini play sets exists and was handmade.
