I had Deadeye as a kid!!!! He was awsome. He was remote controlled, and would shoot disks out of his mouth!! I loved that thing, but never knew what toy line he came from. I must get him back!!!

in the 80's i remember a line of action figures but i cant remember the names. i had one figurine that was humanoid form and had a giant drill bit on the center of its torso that when you wound it up the drill would spin. my particular one had a red torso and black arms and legs. its head was somewhat of a cockpit that you could open and there was a small man for a pilot. one of the bad guys was a red tyrannosaur looking robot that had a robotic pterodon as a sidekick. there was a small comic book included with my particular toy. if you have any suggestions on names i can search for them myself i just need a boost. thanks troy

I have been searching the internet this morning (slow day at work) trying to identify some of the lot of toys a got a couple weeks back. I just ran across a line of Starriors toys that It seems I have at least one of. What do you guys know about the Starriors line. I really don't remember them for some reason. From the pics I found, I have the armored battle station that looks like a big snake.

I actually don't collect 'em...but they do look kinda cool. Yeah, I got the battle station too. Even if you don't collect Starriors, it goes great with Battle Beasts! I'm pretty sure there were knock offs or bootlegs of these called R.A.T.S. or something.

To quote proteus from above: these guys were sold with a totaly different color scheme metallised gold and red and sold as R.A.T.S. in the uk thats robot anti terror squad. RATS were also made by Tomy, they were Starriors re-decoed & re-branded for the UK market, plus a few new designs thrown in. Of interest is that there is another version of RATS with different packaging, which used some of the UK RATS toys. Details are sketchy where or when they were sold, tho.

One of the RATS vehicles was also redecoed and released as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vehicle.

i had a complete and functional deadeye and cricket that i salvaged out of a bulk lot last year. was a ton of fun and had an interesting control mechanism. 1 click made him go, 2 clicks made him circle around, 3 clicks made him stop and shoot the discs, etc.

I have the entire line except I need the Transfer rings, the Battle station (although I have no room on my Starriors shelf for it so I haven't really gone out of my way to buy one), one of the mini cars (can't recall his name off the head, one of the ones like Nipper), Twinhorns horns and Deadeyes arms. Also my Bolar's wind up feature doesn't work, looking for a new arm for him.
