Has anyone ever seen these before. They are funny looking. I never really pictured pirates looking fruity like this. I stumbled across these in an auction last week. I guess I was just wondering if all the figs looked like this or were some dressed in standard pirate garb with eye patches and parots and hats and things not rainbow flamboyant outfits with melted feet. These are hilarious looking and then the fact that some kid thought they were ridicoulous that they drew eye patches and made peg legs on them

Wow, that's an unusual card they came on... Was that typical of Remco?
There's something about these colorful goofballs that I like... Looks like they were light on the accessories, though.

I agree with Plas, they do have a unique package and I like it. As Goofy as they are they are also cool. But 75 dollars, wow. Are they that rare? I would love to have them, guess they will be one of my Holy Grails someday.

They do seem to be pretty rare. Remco, I don't think, put out many three packs. At least I haven't ran across any. Lanard did alot of two and three figure packs for their Corps figures. I have five or six of the Lanard three packs and they look identical to the Remco one above.

Yeah, $75 bucks is a little steep... Someday I'd like to pick them up though.
I wonder what the original MSRP was on those 3-packs?

I don't remember if I had posted this before, but that picture was taken from an eBay auction of mine. I got these in a big lot of GI Joe and GI Joe-like figures. Bad thing was the guy I bought the lot from never told me that he had "bearded" several of the figures. I sorted out the guys that escaped the bearding for my collection - unfortunately there were more bearded guys than non-bearded guys. I decided to sell all of these Pirate guys, but I think I have some of the other figures still running around somewhere....

Remco put out some awesome and unique action figs in it's day, this line being no exception. I do however wish that they had made more vehicles and playsets for it's lines, as well as having more figs in it's arsenal. Let's just say that pirates of the galaxseas or pirates of the evil seas would be more appealing with more than just 6 figs each. I do find the smaller lines easier to complete, but half the fun is tracking down these items, plus the larger collections display better. Just my two cents.
