Robots got a bad deal in the 1990s

i am a mad robot head- if theres a robot in a line i tend to want it- in the 90s i noticed that it became almost obligatory for the robot to blow up as its action- gargoyles steel clan robot, bishop from aliens etc etc.
i had a pile of robot fuigures and nearly all of them had a break appart action of some kind.


its nice that the curse of the robots seems to be over in the 2010s.

steel clan robot was awesome. i was really considering army building that guy just on good principles, then i declined. still, that and coldstone are my two favorite gargoyles figures of all time
