I have a near complete loose collection and am only missing a few weapons. The vehicles and playsets are a different story. These figures probably have some of the best sculpts from any 1980s (and even 1990s) figure lines. They sure produced some obscure figures I never heard of before like Cylotron, Golden Pharoah and Samurai. These are some of my favorite figures from the line as well as Shazam and Mr. Miracle. Check out the Super Powers figure gallery on the main website! Click Here to View

I remember buying these for a buck when I was little. Aquaman was my favorite. I am just waiting to find some for very cheap and then may pick up some of my favorites. This line had great sculpting and cool play features.

I'm actually about to come into a large Super Powers collection via a trade in about a week. As of right now I have a complete Joker & Firestorm. I'm about to get:
-25 more figures -Argentinian Cyborg (kinda carded, half the bubble is off the card and it's yellow'd) -Darkseid Cardback -Hall of Justice (unsure the completeness) -Batmobile (works, all in order) -Lex-Soar 7 (works, all in order) -3 mini-comics (Lex, Supes, & Bats)
This is what I'd be missing:
(accessories) -Green Lantern's Lantern -Aquaman's Staff -Wonder Woman's Lasso -Samurai's Sword -Kalibak's Club -Parademon's Gun
(figures & acc.) -Green Arrow -Dr. Fate -Shazam -Steppenwolf -Mantis -Golden Pharaoh -Cyclotron -Mr. Miracle -Mr. Freeze
(mini-comics) I have the following: -Superman -Batman -Robin -Lex Luthor -Darkseid
I hope that one day I can scan in and preserve all of these digitally. I've already done the Joker & Firestorm comics. Not to mention all 15 of the 3 regualr mini-series of Super Powers comics.

I also have most of the comics (about 3/4 of them). Most of my Super Powers collection is from when I was a kid. I have never seen any of the comics anywhere since then.

Yeah this was a great toy line! I never had many of them, but the ones I did have were tons of fun. They also had cool action features that didn't ruin the figure itself. These were done by Kenner right? They always made great toys! One of my favorites was Lex Luthor and his cool space ship with the pincher claws on the bottom. I always used that ship with my Star Wars figures.

I always used that ship with my Star Wars figures. Yeah the action figures are pretty impressive. Complex stuff I haven't seen yet. Well, not so complex with figures like Superman but Wonder Woman made me laugh when I squeezed her legs. Seeing her hands fly up in the braclet cross to deflect bullets. Pretty cool. I can't wait to get my Green Arrow figure. Supposedly his action is to mock drawing a bow. Oh and Tyr scared me. His action is if you lift up the yellow cyborg arm to point it straight ahead, it auto-fires a rocket pretty far. Didn't expect that when I was examining him. Glad it wasn't pointed at my eye

Update - I updated my list again. New changes today were that I got a Robin mini-comic in the mail today. Don't need that now. But I also got an extra Batman mini-comic in the process.

It looks like you'll have that Super Powers collection complete in no time! Just updated it again in the Marketplace. I'm not to sure about completing it in no time. I'm missing 4 figures still and 3 of them are the biggies: Shazam, Cyborg, & Golden Pharoh. But that's just a matter of money. The real stuff I think will take FOREVER are the little accessories. Which I rarely see with the figure itself. Wonder Woman's lasso and Parademon's gun being the tough ones. Not to mention the rest of the comics

I was lucky enough to pick up most of the final released figures at a toy show here in Winnipeg about 7 or 8 years ago. I got them in a big bag for a few dollars each. It took me many years to get the Golden Pharoah staff on Ebay though. I still need Samuria's vest & Mr. Miracles cape.
I owned Tyr from when he was first released (stupid me, didn't buy any other figures, but i was getting out of toys at the time). Shazzam I picked up at a local collectible store for about $20 a few years ago. Got Orion at an antique show last year for $5.

Well add me to the list. A loose complete Cyborg was up for auction and wasn't really going for much. I decided to screw debt and just go for it this time, up to $100. Squeezed a last second snipe of $76! All together $83. Quite happy. Got the figure today and it's pretty much C9. One little nick of paint gone on his big front chest section, but otherwise solid. So now I have a complete figure set. I still need a few accessories and 2 mini-comics, but I'm almost there!

I sooo wanna start collecting those!! As a kid growing up in the 70s and 80s there wasn`t much else that was really long running like the superpwers team. Remember the Miralce twins and the monkey? Apache Chief? Anyways I made up a complete checklist but haven`t gotten around to doing them yet. I have other collections to catch up on, finish and down size a bit. The wife goes crazy when I spend too much money on toys but it evens itself out when I sell off a collection to make room to start a new one!

Yeah I don`t know where the heck Miracle came from, too much typing and not enough thinking, but yeah the show ran from1973-1985 I have the whole season of the superpowers team from 1985. That was one that just basically evolved with the times.

Its funny how they made up heroes for the cartoons as well as theSuper Powers figure line when they had so many to chose from.

I collect this line and right now i'm looking for pieces from Lili Ledy. What's Lili Ledy? Lili Ledy is a toy company in mexico who had distribution rights to star wars, super powers, mego's and a variety of othe toylines. Some of the star wars lili ledy variants bring high dollars and are very sought after. As far as SP's goes i am unsure of what came carded but i know they are out there.

I found some great pics of unproduced Super Powers vehicles and playsets as well as some concept drawings in a thread on Rebelscum. Ahh, what could've been. Check it out Tower of Darkness playset head first shot

Awesome man. I just completed my collection just this past summer. Here is an old pic. I think these are right up there with my Joes and old school SW collections.

Nice stuff. I'm close myself. I need the hall of justice, batcopter, cyborg, mr. miracle, plastic man, and Shazam! Plus, the arrows for green arrow. This really was one of the greatest toy lines. Great figure details!

I think this is the first one I have seen on Ebay in a very long time. I do need it for my collection but don't regularily search for it. What would you say is the hardest Super Powers vehicle to find?

Definately the batcopter. It is rare. Everything else comes up pretty regularly, even the supposedly rare figures and the justice jogger. That batcopter though, it's tough to find. There was an incomplete one missing the grappling hook nose, that was about 50 dollars a few months back. I should have bid on it back then, but i had no cash at the time.

Well, I just ordered cyborg. he was the last figure I needed. Now, the elusive batcopter is all I need, plus 3 arrows for green arrow, but I think I'll just buy a new one, cause i will probably never come across 3 loose arrows.

I just won a Green Arrow loose w/ the bow w/ bowstring and an arrow. (my 3rd arrow). Now all I have left is Samurai's stupid sword to complete my loose collection.

Congrats on the arrow!! I have the bow and string, but I figure coming upon 3 arrows loose, just won't happen quickly. I think I'm better off just buying a new figure. of course, i need to get him cheap! On another note, I just scored the batcopter MIB!!!! The guy wasn't getting the type of bids he thought he would, so I offered him a price, and he decided he would sell to me on the spot, and take down his auction. Once I get those things in the mail, I'm complete!!!!!
