I was wondering if anyone else around these parts collect Godaikin toys. I've picked up a few here and there and I can't get enough of them. In my option, the design and detail, as far as vintage robot toys, were unmatched.
I recently picked up most of a Voltes V for a good price. I'm only missing a Voltes Panzer...the chest piece, and most of the accessories.

I could easily go for the Gardian DX or God Marz DX and that Tetsujin 28 is my holy grail toy wise (not that I'll ever afford one ) Not so into combining/transforming robots, but never say never ;D

Ohhh!!! Godaikin.....!!!!! Not even Soul of Chogokin can beat it!!!! I own some pieces, all of them are the previous Popy japanese versions: Golion, Dairugger XV, Daimos DX and Daltanias. Together with the Clover and Bullmark robots are the best robots line. I'm still waiting for my Godsigma and Gardian My two favorites are the Voltrons: Golion and Dairugger DX. Check some pics from my babies...

Sweet pics!! I'd almost prefer to have the Popy Japanese versions, but the US versions are expensive enough. Man, if I ever won the lottery Godaikin would be the first line I'd complete. Right now I have: Daltanias, Dynaman DX + ST, Dyjupiter, Goggle V, Voltes( well, 4/5 of em), GoLion, and 2/3 of Abega....and it's not enough! I want more!!! Many are missing parts and only Goggle V has a box, but I don't really care. They're freaking sweet anyways!

For some strange reason I've been so lucky to find complete japanese versions for cheap (I did pay 250$ for Dairugger and Golion was in a trade for some GIJoe vehicles and figures). I'm looking for a good (and cheap) Albegas, I'd like to have all 3 Voltron "versions", but on ebay the prices are going high, about 50+ bucks for each one of the three robots, and they are Matchbox versions!!! Godsigma is on the top of my Godaikin whis list, if it gets so hard to find, I'll take the korean Godbot version, it's cheap and looks exactly like the original.
Did you have seen the Clover robots?? I'm talking about Daitarn 3, Tryder G7, Zambot 3, Gundam RX-78, etc... They are so freaking cool!!!! I own some of them, and looks very good aside the Godaikins.

Yeah , the Clover stuff is pretty sick too. I'd love to have the Daitarn and the Gundam, but they'll probably have to wait til after I finish off the Godaikin line.... and that'll be a while Aside from completing what I already have, Combattra and Gardian are next on my list. And of course...*a-HEM*..a Tetsujin would be nice too...you know, if I ever have an extra $2000+ For now, I'll just settle for the SOC version ;D

Wanna hear something sad??: I miss a mint in box (pretty complete, I think) Godaikin Tetsujin 28 auction on a local site for a couple of hours. It finished on only 230$!!!! That was my Tetsujin opportunity from this life, I think I'll have to wait until my next reincarnation to get a chance like that.

I've been kicking myself cause I passed on a MIB near complete Combattra for $200ish But a Tetsujin for $230!?! I guess I can't really complain then.

Hi Guys, I must admit that I'm down with the Godiakin. I'm lucky I got hold of one of the 6" Tetsujin 28 figures (GB-23) really cheap (small collection of robots for 40 Euro) a few months ago. He is sweet! Now, if I could only afford more of them!

Picked up a complete Gardian a few weeks ago. It's the first time I ever had a chance to mess with one. I was actually a little suprised at the quality and detail. It's a very different, and well designed, take on the whole combining robots thing. Fun stuff!!!

Congrats on Gardian, I'm quite curious to see one myself because of the offbeat combination btw, which part of Abega are you missing?

The same one everyone else seem to be missing, the Gamma bot. It's the one with the long thin wings that goes on top. I may just be better of buying complete one, since the part seems to be the problem piece.

Heh, thought it might be. That seems to be the rarer one I just have the Beta, LMK if you get a complete one and need to move your Alpha on

I just scored a Machine Dolphin for a pretty good price. It's missing some of the smaller accessories. I know it should have a sword, but I when I checked Robot Japan it said it should also have guns and holsters, but no pic. Does anyone have a complete Machine Dolpin? If anyone could post a pic of the parts it should have it would be great appreciated. Thanks!!!

Yeah Gort ,Machine Dolphin is a bit of a wonky Godaikin. The robot mode looks pretty silly, like they didn't finish designing it and left out a few parts The Machine Man fig and the vehicle mode are pretty sweet though
