What about the Shields? I've seen very few of these carded.
I've only seen the Canis with Green Monster Shield, the Zaardoom with Purple Monster shield, and Quasar with Green Monster shield. Is this right or were these randomly packed? This would explain why the purple shield has been tougher to find.
Also, I know that Orion's sword comes both silver and gold, but what about the rest of the weapons? I've only seen the gold club for Weaponsmaster and silver weapons for the other 2? And I have yet to see a silver carded shield.
What's funny is the beast packs i purchased had an Orion with a gold shield and silver sword.
Any insight on this KO Messiah?

wicked, must be a package variation, because the purple monster on the shields is canis and the green one is quasar
Where did you see this beauty, damn i never get to see these guys carded

For some reason I think the distributors just packaged these shieldstickers and the armour completely random, because my Quasar came with a purlple monster shield.

yes ive gone through this with everyone here a number of time about the randomess of sparkle especially at the end. canis coming with green monster shield is very common especially with red armor. strong arm can be found with canis armor, zardoom with orion armor, gold shields with silver armor, its endless. even mismatch waists. i have strongarm with red waist and a zardoom with black waist. normal waist with wooly boots its endless i tell you endless : )

Were all 8 steeds/beasts released in silver and gold and with silver and gold saddles and leashes, or were the (let's say) rhino beast only gold with gold saddle? I have only seen the starhawk blue variant but were the others also released in blue and with what colour saddles and leashes? Does anyone even know if the blue ones actually are a variant or released in some other line by a different company since they're marked hong kong, not macau?

We know the Blue Starhawk but I can also confirm a Blue Starcat ( Hong Kong) and a Red Rhinodemon ( also Hong Kong). I've seen pictures of a Blue Dinodemon before, too. I can only assume that's Hong Kong as well. Since I can't confirm that they're part of the line or not with a carded specimen I can't say if there were colour variants in the leashes as well. Perhaps Drekkus has some more info?

They're knock-offs but I don't know if they go together. They have the same mody mold. Any ideas guys? Thanks Spankweasel

Ok I bought this at a garage sale yesterday... This has got to be ONE! starnge looking knock-off! But another thought is he could be a home made custom?? made by some kid back in the day? his waist is very loose (Spins faster then cyclone lol) Arms do NOT move. Has the Exact same head as quasar from DOTP... Anyone know if this is a real figure or not? Heres the pic:

I do have an extra Canis Major from this line and 3 extra Turly Gang figures but I am waiting until I have about 10 of these kind of figures before I will trade or sell them. International shipping is a killer so best do to this is in larger lots I think. You are lucky Northwinds! I dont even have one! They are Very rare here in Australia

DOTP is really really common here in the Netherlands. Even though the line is almost 20 years old or so you can still find them at flea markets and local sites practically every week if you look for them. Getting them intact ( the plastic is brittle) and getting them with weapons is somewhat harder. Sooner will you find the weapons in a random MOTU lot. use this forum as a guide, it is so much more easy to search these figs out if you know what to look for.

I got a starcat yesterday that has a blue body, instead of all red. I never had one and the pics on websites show all red, at least to me. Is this a KO or variant, or is this right?
