Found these at the local Big Lots today. The knock off Universe Devastator caught my eye and when I picked it up to look at it, I saw the mini G1 Devastator behind it. The G1 knock off is cool as hell. As far as I can tell, its an exact knock off except for being smaller. It separates into all 6 vehicles, which transfor just like the original. Definately worth the 4 buck price tag.

It would have been cool if they made the knock-off BIGGER than the original. 2 feet tall, now that woulda kicked ass!

big lots has a few micromaster combinders. i love them. i have tons of mini gestalts. i love oversized and mini knock offs. some of the big lots gestalts come with an extra gobot like manawar and waterwalk. whats really cool is the fact that al the mirco combinders were released in japan in the early 90's but we never got them but now through bootlegs and reissues we now have a chance. hasbro is trying somewhat by letting us have a few in the universe line. but that didnt last.

I got the mini devastator at a big lots over in tennessee on a trip through there and it really is great! It's exactly like the original just smaller, like they shrunk the big guy down. He is actually gobot size now that I think about it.

Cool Spidey Aerialbot, did they make any others like it for other Marvel Superheroes?

For you guys that are into the newer transformers, my local Big Lots has been getting in several Universe figures. I also read online that they may be getting 20th anniversery Prime as well.

Ah I love the Transformer knock-offs. The more wacky, the better. Some of my favorites were from the Four Star line in the 80's. I have a Sludge, Slag, Bombshell, and a Jumpstarter. The seeker jets from the line were sick!!! One of my other faves was a Godzilla/ Grimlock amalgam. It was probably twice the size of Grimlock, basically Transformed the same, but the body mold and the head were a TOTAL Godzilla rip. I saw one a few years ago and never bought it. I recently got about half of him in a lot...now I want the rest!!!

Here's a few of my Transformers knock offs. We couldn't send for the Sky Dasher mail away in the UK, but the knock off was easy enough to get hold of (green guy isn't a direct ko as far as I know, just kind of neat)

Those sludge knock offs are great although what happens to those wings in robot mode? Jumpstarter is pretty cool too

The whole Convertors line in general is pretty badass. Definately one of my favorite robot lines.

Gort, the wings on the Sludge do kinda awkwardly fold back, though I've always been a little afraid to play with it too much. And I totally agree with the badassity of that jumpstarter. I think he looks better than both of the official TF releases. I love that head sculpt
