That's pretty cool, the fire wagon. The paint jobs and sculpts on these weren't that great. I still think some company should re-do this series with up to date paint jobs and sculpts and articulation. If I had my own company, I would try to do it myself.

I came across this cool LEGENDS OF THE WEST line and am trying to capture it all for www.collector-actionfigures.com website. The 'DASH" site is wiki-driven, has the world's largest database of action figures, great collection management tools, a cool I-phone app, etc., etc. If you have pictures and information on LOTW figures, etc, please go to DASH, go to the LOTW brand and upload, input. I have grabbed a great deal of what I could find and will continue to add figures and information as I can find and as time allows, but I NEED HELP from the LOTW experts out there. You can also catalog your collection and mark your wants on DASH (and receive alerts if desired when the figures you want come up for sale). Any feedback on values of these is also appreciated - let me know your thoughts and I will input (others can weigh in on existing values on site for review and adjustment). What a cool toy line!! Thanks for your help. Richard - www.collector-actionfigures.com

Hi - Researching some stuff I inheritted and came across your website. I have a carded Jessie James (great condition) and a a loose figure with the Wild Bill Hickok card (I'm not a collector or expert but I think they belong together). They are both the Legends of the West Empire Toys version. I saw you needed a picture of Jessie James. You can use this one. Attachments:

WOW! so the town does exist. that is awsome, personally i wouldnt assemble it i would try to scan it and assemble a nice copy. are there pictures and things on the back side of the cardboard?
2 of those store displays were on ebay at the same time several years back, and they didnt go for that much but i was totally broke and couldnt even bid. i was so mad.

Found a couple of new variants I had never seen before from this line. A firefighter version of Wyatt Earp and a variant of the plain white horses with some brown spots that came with the Fire Wagon.

no problem, i love this line. for sort of a cheap knockoff type line with no show or comic or anything to promote it its actually a really well fleshed out series. a nice amount of figures, serveral vehicles and a town playset.
