I collect em too but only for the sake of g1 completion for some reason I bought them when they were new and now just need four(optimus, megatron, starscream and gutcrucnher) as figures they are cool(except for rollout whoes paint has started rubbing off since day 1) but i feel they kind suck otherwise though to thier credit they are cooler the injector from beast wars lol!

I can imagine why many TF collectors would not consider these to be proper Transformers - they don't transform. And that's exactly the reason why I like them as much, because I didn't deem Transformers proper action figures, but more a vehicle/character hybrid that I didn't really care for. Also the robot form more often than not looking nothing like the characters from the cartoon didn't really help. I guess I never liked MASK for the same reason. If the MASK characters had all been 3 3/4, then we could talk about it

As they are i think they are a tease in the purest sense: attractive but will leave you wanting more. I know several ended up being used for 3 3/4 custom figures years back. These easily could have been the Revoltech of their day had they just added more joints....

Awesome collections! I still have a long way to go, but I is patient predator.... I also notice that only me and Catgut have one of the Action Masters Elite figures. Were these harder to get? Don't they 'count' as Action Masters? What's the opinon on these? I personally like them a lot. And I wish they had done Devastator in this line. Now that I have him in hand he looks....odd

lol same here, im still missing quite a bit on the action master front (mainly parts, but also would like to upgrade a few of the figures too) the elite action masters are euro only and are even harder to get than the standard euro only action masters, i think its with them transforming makes there sort after (lol but the price of em also puts a lot off too !!) theres a few on ebay at the moment ,complete and there asking £77.00 plus each. i do like them but humm i dont think id pay that much for 1 when yer can get a action master op prime (may even have enuff spare coppers out of it to get a few standard figures to boot) for the same price .

I wouldnt say the action master elites are hard to come by in Europe, i've seen dozens of them for sale specially omega spream but for some reason there always stupidly high priced and there not even that good a figure, I am a completist but for figures like that I usually wait till the very end and by that time I usually find them for a bargain.

lol count it as a bargin mate, as skyline says there to pricey for what thay are, also i think the transforming gimmick on em is ok , but thay dont look as good as the standard action masters (id say if yer thinging of getting any euro types go for the standard versions, sideswipes, bombshell and track are exclent ,i think thay all do )

Hmm... I've never paid much attention to these but looking at all the photos there are some nice figures among them.
I see them all the time at toyfairs but it's always characters I don't know (pretty much anyone beyond the first year or two of G1). If I can pick up a couple of choice figures cheaply I could see me getting into these.
