Found a nice MIB Stegus today at a Con and as soon as I saw it flooded back memories LOL. What I found out from Virtual Toy Chest was it came out in 88' and wasn't based on a Comic or Cartoon like everything else. LOL Also looks like it was canceled before the 2nd Series came out and this is the Check List I got from VTC
Stone Clan Anklor with Tuk Deitron with Brac T-Rex with Crag the Clubber Ice Clan Dynacus with Zur Ptero with Brog Tritops with Tund the Thunderous Lava Clan Stegus with Org Plesior with Molt Action Sets Bola Bomber Club Flinger Hammer Hook Ram Bammer Spear Slinger Tangle Trap
Thanks for any help or any info on if this is a hard set to put together.

Your right matt. I just found a bunch selling in the bags on a toy website. First time i've ever seen or heard of these. There pretty small, but they are really nifty. Anyone on these boards actually collect them?

I pick them up when I can. I have one dino in the box. These things are pretty dirt cheap usually under 10 (mine was 1.04 complete with instructions and box plus shipping). The only problem is that mine is in the box as the dinos get big. But they are still awesome figs they form dinos and you can redo the bones to make vechiles and things.

Anyone on these boards actually collect them? Net yet, but I'll sure start soon, They looke pretty neat, and I just dig Caveman stuff, and they're not much around in action figure form. Most are part of other line, but these ones look awesome! As anyone have some for trade or sell make me a sign, I may well be interested. Anybody know if they're cavegirl in the series? Of what I seen it's not likely. Another thing, where the caveman in scale with vintage Star Wars / Super Powers, Robin Hood Prince of Thieve figure? If so, well, they're even cooler!

To be honest, i think they're about the size of air raiders figures, unless my eyes are off that is. Anyone able to compare a bone age with let's say a g.i.joe and show a pic?

Here's a comparison pic, the Bone Age caveman are in scale with Dino Riders and MASK, as you see in the pic. Sorry for the blurry image, I bought this lot on ebay some time ago. Bone Age is a great line for any Dino Riders collector I believe.

Make sense since the dinosaur would have been way too large if the figure were to be any bigger on the pic I saw.

Bone Age was released by Kenner in 1987 or so, I think. I have an old 1988 Kenner catalog with many Bone Age toys in it, along with Ghostbusters. Would you like me to scan it for you?

You're welcome.
By the way, this catalog also contains Real Ghostbusters publicity as well as Silver Hawks, Starting Lineup and Skyball. I own this catalog since Christmas 1987, when my brother and I received Ghostbusters toys (which we still own today).

So, you're a Bone Age fan? That's great! These toys, indeed, deserved more attention than what they actually got back then. I think there was a lack of publicity around them.

I don't remeber ever seeing them, in stores or in other kids playbox, I came across them when I started buying lots of Dino Riders figures on ebay, I would sometimes get a random caveman guy so I looked them up and whoa, they are riders for some awesome bone toys. Sadly they are on the back burner because they are slightly pricey and I don't have a whole lot of room.

I think it's cool the cavemen are in scale with M.A.S.K. figures. Battle of the century!

Well, it's always fun to see different figure lines being at the same scale to one another. This way, we can mix them and invent more stories. In my childhood, my pal and I mixed "Other World" and "He-Man"; the fact that they were not exactly at the same scale bothered us a little, because Skelettor nor He-Man could ride Kamaro nor Sharkoss; although, they could ride my big green and orange rubber lizard, and Hondu could ride my Imperial dragon-horse.

Its rare that I have any interest in a toy that I didn't have as a child but these look great! I don't have any memory at all of these between my friends and I growing up and that alone says they were uncommon. Also, there was never a cartoon made right? It's too bad because it probably would have been a nice relief from all the heavy stuff. This guys look like they like to have fun!
