I do not know if anyone has posted about this figure yet, but I certainly appreciate DC Direct for releasing it. It is the First Appearance figure of Warlord from their comic series which started the toy series of Lost World Of Warlord (I think that is right anyway.) I will post pics of him open too if others have not seen him or posted him already. Also I bought him at a new shop today in town that has tons of Marvel, DC Direct and speacializes in Statues of Scifi, comic, Western and other characters. I will post the info for the store, they are online too I think, later. Thanks and sorry if this has been covered before. I want to hear from the Warlord fans what they think of this figure.

I'm sooo glad you posted this pic.
I got him a few weeks ago and he's great. Looks good riding on the lone imperial monster I have. My only criticisms are lack of a pistol(wasn't that his trademark?) and the scabbard hangs funny: it's attached with equal chain lengths to the top of his ass, so it hangs parrallell to the ground just below his ass.

That's true about the pistol and the scabbard does hang funny on his ass. I'm going to post front/back pictures soon since I opened him up.

I've had a friend buy a couple of these DC Direct Figs on my EBay account. Wasn't too sure at first, but I'd definitely like to pick a few up. They look great, but I do wish they had a little more articulation.

They could use a bit more articulation, but I do like that they are totally different than Marvels because it gives a nice variation between the two. Besides I still can not get my Captain America from the Legends line to stand up but my Warlord here Is proudly displayed. The good Captain has too many joints.

That's a major flaw with the marvel legends...the joints. They're either way to tight or they've loosened to the point they can't hold a pose.
I bought a GM series Thor loose on ebay and his right hip like to shift, making posing and standing nearly impossible. Luckily, he can lean on his fellow Avengers.

Yeah the joints on the Marvel legends are pretty crappy, I broke an Apocalypse BAF and a couple of the smaller figures.

Hmmm...Nice.
I had the original as a kid and remember it was pretty cool. This is an excellent update.
