Soul of Chogokin is one of the few modern toy lines that I really have no problem dropping real $$$ on. Made from diecast metal and plastic parts, the line picks up where the old Shogun Warriors line left off. Beautiful toys, brilliant design,.....I can't say enough good things about them. I finally picked up a Getter Dragon. BADASS!!! One of the freaking coolest toys I've EVER played with Is there anyone else around these parts in to these guys as well? Or am I by my lonesome???

They are damn nice, though I already spend enough $$$ on vintage stuff. I would pick a few up if i got a good deal though.

I like these toys a lot but i haven't the space or extra toy money to seriously pursue them. I did buy all of the Mazinger's Angels figures tho - chick robots with missile firing boobs rule.

As much as I love the missile firing boobs, I think I love the spiked ball and chain boobs more. "Did ya hear about Bob? Got his ass kicked by a girl. Pummeled by her giant robot spikey boobage!" I couldn't imagine being the evil macho super villian bent on world domination that goes out like that.

Man, I got the Voltes last week. The amount of detail the put in to the sucker is incredible. Well worth the wait. Now I just need to complete my Godaikin Voltes....

Picked up Venus A (metalic version) at a toy fair for a good price, very nice ;D I've Got Leopardon on pre-order and I still need to get my ass into gear and pick up Battle Fever before the price goes up. Finding SOC at bargin prices seems even harder than picking up cheap Godaikins. I wish someone would carry these retail here in the UK, shipping is a bitch and if customs catch the more expensive ones that's another £10-£20 on top

Woo-who! I just got mine yesterday, with a little help from Carlo as well Leopaldon has to be one of my favorite SOCs to date. The robot itself is great, very well made, transforms and everything. Also you get a large Spidey figure AND the car. Transforming robot, Spider-man, and a die-cast car, what else could a big kid want??? And to top it all off is the stand. I love how you can stash the extra arms IN the stand. Then there's the "garage" for the car. Ah, good stuff!!

Leopaldon has to be one of my favorite SOCs to date. I'm with you 100% on that. Leopardon looks fantastic and has a really good, solid feel. I'd have bought this for the robot alone so all the extras are just one big bonus for me. Gotta love that tiny spidey and his car. (hehe, and yeah, I noticed your name pop up on the list )

How tall are these babies?

Leopardon is about 7" (17cm)
6"-7" seems about average for the none-combining SOC, the combining ones are normally a bit taller (Voltes V is about 9 1/2")
