I think I had one of these when I was young. Cut him to pieces.

I saw one on Ebay once. Forgot to save the picture. Meatybat spent a lot of money on it. I have an old price guide with a B&W pic or two.

Here are some pics I saved from ebay some time ago. Are these the pics you are talking about Daltron?

I think the one I saw was carded. Though I'm not totally sure. That's pretty cool, thanks for the pics. Now that I'm looking at them I think the figure I cut up may not have been a Flex-A-Tron. He was some kind of human bendy warrior guy, but he wasn't from The Other World.

Yeah, those are the ones I won. They Speclatron line and another use the Maestro looking head. They both have Man E Faces guns.

I realize this is a Speclatron thread, but anyone see that Flex-a-tron cardback on eBay? I think it's ending soon and had one bidder. Anybody here bidding/winning it? Just wondering ('cause the picture's blurry) if that is a backstory on the card or just random manufacturer info.

Can I possibly get a better look at a Flexatron black cat (if anyone has one)? Much appreciated.

Well, I'll be! As always, love seeing carded pics of the obscure/rare stuff! Never knew the heads were separate pieces from the bodies, but I guess it makes sense. Would love to see the "good guy" cats some day.
Won a loose Devilor once myself (for cheap), but the seller claimed he'd somehow lost it afterwards. Bah! That devil!

Good guy cats are the same black cat at least that's what the seller of the auction I won in 2006 told me .

Darn...all the cats are the same?! Well, that's no fun...how are the characters supposed to tell who's who during their ultimate battles of (presumably) ancient power?
Hate to be a royal pain, but any chance we could get a typed out version of the little story on the cardback? Pretty please? I think I almost detached a retina...GAH!!!

You got it.
"Flexor heir apparent to the throne of the planet Flexidia is in exile. His father, the King, was murdered by Varyk, the evil viceroy who took over rulership of the kingdom. Varyk knows that Flexor has vowed to avenge his father's murder and has hired the evil warriors Devilor, Vipen, and Herr Bone to find Flexor but not to kill him, for Flexor knows the powerfulsecret code that will open the vault to the Priceless Treasure of Flexidia which lies concealed belwo the dormant volcano Mt. Pyro. Varyk is determined to get the code form Flexor, by any means possible. Flexor and his ally and friend Zorn with their fighting tiger , raj plan to retake Flexidia and destroy Varyk, Devilor, Vipen, Herr Bone and their evil leopard Devilcat. They must get the treasure, undetected by their enemies, to pay for the amry needed to reclaim Flexor's throne."
Hope that helps and entertains. On a side note, it says that Herr Bone is the "evil executioner of Varykon" and is figure number "666". Cant get more evil and badass than that!

Also, i like how Flexor needs the "priceless treasure" to pay for the army. Isnt he the prince/new king?? wouldnt the army fight for him for that fact alone? Sheesh, I'd use the priceless treasure to hire someone to write a better backstory. ZIng!

What a fantastic yarn! Thanks for the "translation".
Heh, that priceless treasure was probably a Bo-Flex home gym prototype or something...never trust guys with horns, fangs, purple skin or skull faces, let a lone allow 'em in your royal court...sheesh, the king had it coming! They probably broke his bendy-wire skeleton and let him for dead in the back yard of the royal castle (which was probably made of rubber).

Haaaa, yeah I remember reading that and thinking it was a doozy of a tale . The guy I won mine from said he passed on the 2 heroes as a kid because they were so plain and that the cats were the same . That was what he remembered of the 2 heroes , lol . The story obviously couldn't be responsible for hooking all the youths . They dropped the ball with the good guys something terrible.

So did anyone take the plunge and use the Ebay BIN on any of Otakings Flexatron listings that have been up a few times over the last few months? Be warned if you do, you will more than likely never receive the figures.

He is notorious for not shipping items people have purchased and got banned from this forum for doing just that. With Paypal protection I guess you could take the chance, but i would advise against it.

So did anyone take the plunge and use the Ebay BIN on any of Otakings Flexatron listings that have been up a few times over the last few months? Be warned if you do, you will more than likely never receive the figures. It was me that did a BIN on two of Otaking's Flexatron figures. I knew with every fiber of my being that you were more than likely going to be right, but thought I would give the guy a chance. Plus it was too good of a deal to pass up if by a small chance he did send the figures since they were in great condition and no ones else was willing to take the chance to see if he would send them or not. I took the gamble and lost since he never did send the figures and had to get a refund via eBay. The sad thing is if he would have sent the figures like I hoped that he would; I would have bought so much more from him. He has a lot of cool stuff still for sale, but if he is not going to send it out then what is the point in buying it. He was a really cool guy back in the day before he turned into the guy we know him to be today; it is really sad. I wish he would have come thru and sent the Flexatron; I gave him another chance and he blew it once again.

Is this guy actually able to rip people off on eBay? What's the point of not sending stuff when eventually people will ask for a refund? It's almost like he's trolling buyers.

I don't know what he is doing, set a price with a BIN, someone buys it then he never ships. Maybe its just his way of borrowing money, though I believe Paypal does have a hold on it for new sellers. He must have gone through 6 or 7 Ebay IDs already that we know of so pretty sure it was on a hold.
Glad you got your money back Shup, it was worth a try.
