Pretty much or other more He-Man related sites like He-Man.org . Messiah is the authority on the knock related chickys. Some others that collect aren't on as often so don't feel left out.

Don't you have a personal one through your ISP? They won't spam you, they're just trying to keep spam and bots out of the forum.

I changed from Nameplanet/Netidentity to Gmail a while back and the he-man.org forums wouldn't accept my new email. Still haven't got an answer from he-man org. Sorry for getting off topic.

Sorry as well, just wanted to chime in, that he-man.org has been pissing me off for years with this isp e-mail junk. I don't have one, not going to pay money to get one either. Any excuse they give for not letting non isp e-mails on is a load of garbage.
As for the prototypes, I don't think they are that difficult to find on ebay, you tend to find four to five a month on ebay. The problem is the cost. You gotta throw down a lot of money on these things if someone puts up a well detailed auction. The challenge is searching out the auctions where the seller doesn't quite know what he has, or is new and doesnt really know what he's doing. Then you can get a pretty decent deal if you are one of the few to find it.

!!!!! So he-man.org is a gated palace that we will never be invited into!!!!!
I got so fusterated after trying every e-mail I have, Ive never had as much trouble joining anything as i did with that site. :/
Maybe someone who is ALREADY in could smuggle some information back for us!! hahaha.
I am just now starting to have any luck at all with ebay. There is just always a lot of people + me who want something and i dont like the whole bidding and waiting and hoping someone doesnt come in last minute and outbid you.. Lots of almosts and then last minute heartbreaks.whinewhinewhine*
A girl on a she-ra fan site had all of the jewel sisters listed as dolls she wanted, she said she saw them in a catalog for prototypes or s o m e thing.-.- but i haven't even found any imformation on any prototypes.
thankx for all your replies!

Your best chance of finding those now are tracking down old Mattel employees who worked on the line, becoming great friends with one of their family members and wait to buy them when they pass away. Just kidding, but seriously, that's how hard it is to find some of this stuff. He-man is a notoriously hard line to find unproduced prototypes. I wish it was more like the Joe community. We have almost the entire 1995 unproduced line available to us in remolds because we all loaned our prototypes with the big customizers and shared the unproduced wealth.

This guy I know has some "she-ra/golden girl" prototypes- wax castings but they are just of most of the bodies, He is selling them for pretty cheap (we'll compared to ebay)...
I am wondering if it is possible to find out of they are orginal prototypes or could someone of made them??
How can I tell? There are most of the she-ra doll bodies and a few golden girl. No heads.

if he doesn't have any heads, it sounds fishy to me. Also, I'd look them over and see if they appear to be made from the same material, or are in similar condition, which would be another red flag to me; since the lines were produced by two different companies, one would presume there would be some difference with sculptor's medium or condition.
Oh yeah, most wax casting/prototypes I've seen have a slight difference in size from the actual toys, but, I am no expert.

I would ask for some proof as to where the prototypes came from, with a little research you should be able do document it back to a reliable source in mattel or something. This would also go a long way in improving the value of it if you decided to sell it.
