Hey Jong, good luck with this! Thanks for the pics of her, she's a beaut'. I'm sending you an email a little later. As for for those questioning her authenticity; she's completely legit. Not sure of my quailifications? Check out Sectaurs.com on February 11th to be sure.

I personally could not own something like this, because then it would make me want to have all of the prototypes from the line. So I would have sold it as well. But I'm still a major player in the collector world.

Not sure if I should say who won. He does not live in North America, i'll give you that much.

Wow. Holy frickin' Wow! This is what I get for neglecting to check the board for...ohhhh...months? I'm really glad to see another Stellara pop up. I saw a post from ToyGiant on the MOTU boards stating a huge cache of protos popped up and got in the hands of him and other Sectaurs.com guys. Sweet! Really curious to know if any fully equipped Stellaras were part of that. As well as any news of more Bodyball or Swipe stuff. And to see a Stellara get sold for around $12 when someone said others went for $400-500? Crazy!

..It seems that there are only 2 Stelaras in existence. So I didn't think that $750 was too much to shell out at the time. Hopefully I can buy the accessories for her some day. There are actually 5 right now.

To put your minds to rest I won the stelara and it is the real deal. Wondered who I was bidding against. Don't think I'll ever be seeing her for sale in that condition again.

One production complete with accessories. One resin/cast type, no accessories. One kind of between those stages, only has the harness. Price was comparable to what yours and the other went for.

WOW Stellara is so cool! To bad they stopped with the Sectaurs toyline, I really liked the bugs when I was a kid. Dug up these some days ago, but sadly the big flying bug and dragon rider is missing. Sorry to barge in with a photo, I like photos :) img214.imageshack.us/img214/8153/sectaurs03.jpg

I have the same idea . I'd like to get some one to repaint a spidrax into a night fighting spidrax. i'll have a go myself but I'm no where near as good as some of the customisers working on ebay right now.

I have done a repaint of Spidrax a couple of years ago. I am now exploring all of my options to find an expert customizer to create Stranglebug, glow-in-the-dark vest, leash and a staff to put all the accessories together to create the figure.

I though about making the glow in the dark vest. myself. Does anyone know if you can melt glow in the dark plastic and mold it into new shapes without losing its glow in the dark properties?

I don't know how the glow-in-the-dark vest could be made. If I get that answer, I'll pass it along. In the meantime, here's a photo of the working progress for Night Fightling Spidrax:

I had every single one of these if you count my brothers spider leader guy and his flying steed. I remember buying them all at kay-bee for a lot less than other toys and couldn't believe more people didn't like them. They were really sturdy and all of the little sidekick insects had great actions. Very impressive toys. The figures had very sleek, elflike features that appealed to me somehow, not to mention they were insects (my hobby growing up). My favourite was the furry tarantula with his spider-like rider.

I though about making the glow in the dark vest. myself. Does anyone know if you can melt glow in the dark plastic and mold it into new shapes without losing its glow in the dark properties? I haven't been around in a while, so long that apparently my account was deleted Anyway as far as the glow in the dark vest and accessories go I looked into fishing lures. I never got around to actually doing it but I'm pretty confident it would work. Directions on how to make rubber fishing lures here: Tackle Making MagazineGlow in the dark powder to mix into the rubber here: Ready Set GloGood luck to anyone who tries! Now I have a question as well. Is anyone here or does anyone here know who is bidding on the Sectaurs original puzzle art that's been on eBay the past few days? If so send me an e-mail, we need to chat! cjktoybay@yahoo.com

Snagged this pic from ebay. Thought it might be good to have as a reference. If I had the cash laying around, I would jump on the two items out there right now. Way too expensive for me right now though. I still haven't saved up enough to buy a Hive playset.
