i have a zardus with flesh-colored arms and legs....at first i figured it was just yellow but faded, but studying it, its pretty even flesh-tone all over. i even popped one of the arms off and its flesh inside. if it were discolored/faded, you'd think it wouldn't been that way on the inside, right? is this normal for this figure to have?

If its the blow molded early Remco body someone may have popped the figure apart and mixed parts. If you warm them up they come apart really easy and other arms can be popped in pretty quick . Have a pic ?

Sometimes the limbs loose the pigment / dye in the plastic. Same reason Snake-Men get the weird purple on the wrists , its the purple coming out of the plastic and feet like Roboto get the same thing too . This is also the same affliction the flesh colored guys get when they get the "ghost limbs" when the arms go super pale.

My Yellow-bodied Zardus looks the same as yours Slm. right on. now that i looked at figure-archive.net, the moc example there has flesh colored limbs too... i was curious because i also have a zardus with yellow arms/legs. the yellow limbed one doesn't have the red paint spray on the face either, which makes them kind of cool together. its like the xamot & tomax of warrior beasts!

so, i got a sheet of red vinyl. i don't think its the right shade of red, but whatever. (so don't worry, i won't be attempting to start a bootleg cape business). i was wondering if someone could trace a skullman cape on a piece of paper (or some heavier stock, like a comic book backing board, preferably) a send it to me in the mail. i'll hook whomever up with some extra red vinyl.

I believe the skullman came with four different versions of his cape.......gool ol' remco! yeah, i'm totally not picky. i just need a blueprint for any of the 400 variations. my hand to eye cordination isn't very good, so i don't really trust myself to just wing it by use of an internet pic. limited vinyl supply, no room for errors. so please help me out, anyone!

I found a Skullman for .50 at a yard sale. I sold him on eBay.
A few weeks later, I found his cape in a lot I had for almost a year prior. I had no idea! I found it very ironic and strange.

cool find, I wish I could find stuff like that at yard sales. I'd really like one of those taskmaster looking skullman figures. Both versions are pretty sweet though

hey folks, I did some hunting and got a bunch of Warrior Beasts together. Wolfman and the figures packed with the lizards are missing tho. Hope to find them soon! I'm so amazed about these guys! I also got some new lights for my shelves

Do the Fire Dragons have any markings on them to show that they are 100% from this line?
And: How large are those (length). I have 2 of those here with different paint schemes.

Since my motu collection is almost complete I have decided to start venturing out into the other 5 1/4 inch figures. The first series that caught my eye was the Warrior Beast line. So far the only place I have found any for sale is of course ebay and they seem to go for around $20 complete. Is that accurate according to you guys who know the line a lot more than I do? In trying to find as much info as possible about the line I saw a card back that pictured the castle of doom. Was that ever released and if so who has one? I really look forward to posting here more and getting more informed with other obscure lines. I see I ahve to reach 30 posts before I can do the buy/trade thread Here's hoping I ahve a lot to say in a short time.

got my fire dragon, too ("original" or not - I'm just loving it!) I also did a blog on the Fire Dragon: blog.toy-sector.de/2012/03/fire-dragon-remco-1982.htmlI'm not sure though, if the Dragons I have are "orginals". It would be awesome if some of the guys with the boxed sets could check for any markings on the figures and post some large scale pics of them. thank you!

Warrior Beasts are some of my favorites, too. I just picked up the purple guy and the orange and green one at a toy show today.

How much should I expect to pay for a loose complete Ramar with Fire Dragon. I know they are kind of rare. The lady who has it has no idea what it is, and I want to offer her a fair price.

Ramar goes for around $200-220, fire dragon $10-20.
