Anyone ever hear of this 3 3/4" line before. It was priduced in 1983-84 and is kinda like the AD&D figure line. I have nearly all the figures but none of the creatures yet. Hope to add a section to the main Website for this line when i get closer to completing it.

I think his name was Ragnar. I will have to get pics on the main site of my figures soon. Always looking for these guys if anyone has any.

What kind of different creatures did they produce for the line? Only dragons?

There were 4 ride on creatures that looked like sleds - a black skull, red demon, green dragon and a 2 headed blue serpent. There were also 2 weird Centaur like creatures - one with an eagle head and a black one with some kind of demon face. They are definately unique.

Huh those are odd. Weird how the creatures are more of vehicles than actual riding creatures like the ones for MOTU.

I remember my mom buying a bunch of these for me from Kay-bee, because they were heavily discounted. I still have them. Crappy line, though.

I like this line. It's one of those lines I have gotten in and out of and back in again collecting. At one time I had all 6 figures loose and complete plus a loose and complete Roozan and one of the small vehicles. Wish I still had them because they are harder than heck to find.

The figures seem to pop up on Ebay fairly frequently, though that blue wizard variant still eludes me. Hopefully when things pick up on Ebay in the fall I can knock off the last few items I need to complete this line. Some of these vehicles can be really tough to get. I have seen Fantar and Roozan come up on auction quite a bit in the bast (just not recently).

After I get a lof of figures from a deal I made, I will only need 3 more of these guys to have the complete figure line myself. Got Roozan and Fantar a few months back on ebay.

They can be expensive. I just purcased the Demon Flyer Rider, (guy with hood) Serpent Rider, Skull Sled Driver and an extra Black Guliz among a few other extra figures that I already had and I paid $200. BTW 10incher, if you ever find any vehicles or the black and Silver wizard, the purple demon, or the black and red demon who wears the black helmet, LMK. I am putting te word out. , Thanx Paul~

So, the two animal steeds must be expensive also...

They are a little easier to find than the vehicles. Don't even remember what I paid for mine a few years back, though probably between $50-$100 MOC

i dont know what it is about this line, its pretty small but i just really like it. the guliz figure may be one of my top 5 3&3/4" figures ever. i finally got the red guliz ive been after for ever. i dont have the whwole line but now i have all the figures i really want. i wouldnt mind getting the roozan and other creature and the silver and black rider figure. but im not going to bother with them unless i just stumble on a great deal.

thank you shuptrine, thats awsome coming from you. you have some of the nicest collections ive ever seen.
turnbolt, i had a couple of those and i spent YEARS!!!! trying to find out what they are. someone i want to say on these forums finally solved it for me. the lins was called bible greats and was sold in religious book stores and the like in the early 90s i think.
ive sort of put off putting up pics of my collection because most of my stuff i just cant get out right now im so crowded. but i guess i can post some of what i have out nowin the gallery section.

hey shuptrine the smokey is tonka. i dont recall too many details but he came in a pretty cool big set that had a ranger figure or 2 and i think a little cabin and picknick table and a few other things. ive never had but ive seen it a few times it was a really cool set. i believe i was pretty early im wanting to say 72 or 74 is when it came out. yes the bigfoot os the one that came with the cycle , again ive never had the cycle. i got both of those figures in about 90 at a used toy store in town when i first started collecting and i didnt even know who the bigfoot was at that time and just though smokey was cool, had no idea he was from a big set.

I thought I'd post a picture of these while they're still in my collection as I'm going to try to trade them off pretty soon.

Yeah, their sculpts are cool too. I've decided to keep the Red Dragonman. There's close up pictures of a couple of the figures in my trade/sale thread. I didn't start doing the close ups until the last two I photoed, but luckily the two I didn't get close ups of are on the 3 3/4 Archive loose.

Love these figures. Really should collect them at some point. Still have the 2 I had as a kid.
But, that Smokey the Bear is amazing. Always been jealous of that one!

Dragonriders of the Styx is one of my all-time favorite lines. Re-collected the six base figures, but still have yet to grab any of the harder-to-find figures in my price range. Wish I had more weapons...to think, I had them all once but ditched them in a hasty move.
Hey, 3 3/4" collector, who is the grey-looking alien in the front next to Daggit?

hey Pallidmask, thats a bit of a story. 21st century toys who made all those 1:18 scale millitary figures and vehicles. they made a flight 19 avenger, and this little alien was included inside the plane as a little joke.
