Saw one at a local flea market, sealed in box for $40. Its been there for a while and although I don't really collect super hero figures, I was thinking about picking it up for the hell of it. This sound like a good deal?

Sounds like it is about the going rate for a MISB item especially if you are into Secret Wars stuff. I saw one go for a little less on Ebay but you have to consider shipping cost as well. I say buy it, I own one and it is pretty cool. Offer him $30, then $35 if he doesn't accept it.

I remeber getting it for Christmas the year it was released. I loved the Secret Wars comics at the time and the Tower got allot of use from my brother and I.

Really like the figs, simple but hey... Does anyone have a complete collection and/or a nice display of these figures? In that case, share it!

My dog has executed many action figures. Luckily, nothing too expensive, yet.

I think this should get it own topic. What toy or toys have been decimated by your pet or pets. I know Messiah has felt some pain from this. My dog hasn't exceeded his value yet so he's in the clear.

That lot of bad guys, maybe they were called the wrecking crew? They would have been cool to have as toys. Maybe a galactus, as well. As far as good guys, I would have liked to have seen Colossus, Hulk, and maybe Nightcrawler.

I would have liked a Hulk or some other figure utilizing a larger scaled body. Being they loved the smoothy body a nice Silver Surfer would have been easy . Would they have been able to make other figures as cheaply these were done. How far can you push his body ? I have these toys, no one has my dingo. He gets props when I feel to do so. Do you not own these toys or a dog stop the animal hatered !

Anyone tried a shield for Cap America from a different line? I know we all miss one for this release.

Id assume that during that time thats when James "Rhodey" Rhodes took over the Iron Man role for Stark.
This would be Pre War Machine if im correct .

I'm not sure, I never really got into Iron Man as a comic book. And I don't remember the secret wars comics all to well. I sold many comics a long time a go. You're probably right though, da18thcustomizer.
I was just curious about it.

I just looked into it on wikipedia, and it seems James Rhodes is war machine, but took over for stark when we was a drunk. maybe they should have named this figure iron man II?
