I asked around at the .org but I didn't get much of a response. I've heard from a fellow collector he finally tracked down a UK variant Man At Arms with mustache. Apparently the helmet is painted slightly different as well.
Was this actually a thing? I don't mean to drag it out into the light, but he mentioned it hardly saw release. I'm just curious because I've never even so much as heard of this.

Like, I can't imagine any toy producers bothering with the sculpt change, but a paint app sounds feasible. Sooo many kids privately 'moustached' their Men-at-Arms, it wouldnt be too great a stretch if (after the cartoon had been released for some time) some non-US MOTU providers noticed & catered to the need while the market was playing catch-up. But it's something I'd expect from India or Sth America rather than Britain.

Its entirely not real. No Man at Arms was produced anywhere in the world with a mustache factory painted. My close friend has the largest collection of vintage MOTU in the world and has every foreign variant known to officially exist. This isnt one of them.
The only ones to ever come up with "factory painted mustache" are the Yugoslavian bootlegs that were made in some guys basement and look like total trash.
