Hi All, I love Star Wars, the history of Kenner and other toys from the 1970s and 1980s. I recently started a new blog www.retrotoyinfo.co.ukThe pictures used in the blog were all taken by me from toys in my personal collection. I have collected Star wars and other vintage toys for over 20 years and created the blog simply because I am so interested in all retro toys. Be interested to hear any comments. I have made a start and posted 6 posts on it in the last couple of weeks. I will add new posts regularly on specific toys, toy lines and history of toys Happy new year Alex

That Sears catalog is amazing to see again. My grandmother had us make our Christmas lists from it - I agonized for days about what to circle - the ones I really had to have I’d put a star next to. My grubby hands probably smudged all the ink on the page.

Good stuff, you really do your homework. I like that you're featuring some stuff that hasn't already been talked about ad nauseum on tons of other sites.
I had seen those generic light cycles on intergalacticspacebunny's ebay store I think but didn't realize they might have been legit merchandise from another manufacturer who bought the molds. Interesting. Those tabletop arcade games are dope too.
