nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
I've recently come to respect DeBeers as a top notch heel. He closed an episode last week following a 20 min Draw w/Bockwinkel, then finished with a classic 3-minute heel promo, tearing down Americans for being soft and touting the superiority of the South African people and their politics. As the announcer ended the show, he snatched the mic to light up the fans, and the show ended with:
"You, madam, are obviously a transvestite." roll credits!
priceless!

I have Flair in purple trunks and Zybysko in red. I had the robes until about 6 years ago when a cat of my mom's crapped in the box they were in. The figures were salvageable. The robes were not.

I'm going to start working on a section for the Archives for the AWA Remcos. I have most of the regular series of figures but only have Playboy Buddy Rose from the Matt Mania series. Sadly he's missing his sash.

The ring came with two plastic grabbers where I guess you used to move medium sized figures around in the ring. I think the ring I had it had a cage where you could take it off and put it back. I used that ring to play with my bigger WWF rubber figures. Those were the days LOL

Did you mean this one? This is the one I have, though the ropes aren't as sloppy as the pic above.

The ring that comes with the cage has a red cover and I think the corner posts are different to clip the cage on . At least I think , have a few packed away, the little lock for the cage much like Dragon Blaster Skeletor is the biggest pain to get .

God I loved that toy awa ring with the cage to go with it. I cant remember about the door that you can open but I had fun with playing with whatever I had for those LJN WWF figures.

Had the set as a kid and loved it. I would constantly make Abdullah The Butcher fight Carlos Colon in the cage. I would have them rub their heads against the cage as the figures actually had the blade marks on their foreheads! I loved it.

I found a figure the other day. It looks just like one of the Golden Girl figures, but I've looked at figures from this line and she's not in it. It's nearly identical to them. No stamp date or anything on her.
Any idea what she can be?

OK, here she is: She has those nasty spots (mold stains?) which annoy me.

I just realized that the 2 other referees in the line in the Battle Royal Playset had the heads of 2 of the Lost World of the Warlords figures! Nasty Ned has Mikola's head & Curley Brown has Machiste's head.

He is my collection. I also have the caged ring with Curley Brown, but I haven't set it up yet. I have to I pretty much gave up in getting any of the Mat Mania figures. They are hard to find and when you do, they go for ridiculous prices. I only have Doug Somers & Dick Woehrle of the Mat Mania group.

I always wondered by Doug Summers had a strong body. Shouldn't he have had a flabby body like Buddy Rose? He was a little slimmer than Buddy, not he has the same build as Scott Hall, not even close in real life. Jimmy Garvin was given a flabby body version and he was in better shape than Doug. Not knocking Doug's work, but body types are body types. They had a flabby version of the Long Riders as well, which was ok. Buddy Roberts should have had a flabby version as well. Incidentally, I always thought the Greg Gagne figured looked like Andy Kaufman.

I always wanted the cage set, but my ma said 'you already have a ring.' I saved my allowance and bought the battle royal set and then found the cage set. Couldn't afford both. Now that I am an adult, I find them on e-bay....still can't afford it. I was, however, the envy of the neighborhood as my father made me a scaffold set that was portable. We'd have big matches in our front yard with all the neighborhood kids and I'd bring out the scaffold. Road Warriors vs. Freebirds high above the ring. Unlike the real scaffold matches, we'd have the figures do drop kicks and back flips off the thing, splashing the guy below. Awesome memories.

I have the pinky ring from the AWA line, but also the tie clip. Does anyone know if there were other accessories? I have all of the stickers they came with somewhere still and the clip and ring, but never sure if they made any other souvenirs.

One of my favorite lines of all-time. I'm down to needing one figure (Boris) and some accessories. I even have most of the variants which usually aren't my thing, but I've found ones that aren't even widely known.
The best part is that I've been able to get all the Mat Mania's at a profit, getting them in cheap lots and flipping the rest.

Down to one, but an expensive one.
I may know of one that may be for sale if you are actively looking for it. (Not from me)

They are pretty cool figures. As a wrestling fan it's cool to see how many of these wrestlers actually got made into figures. I may have to start looking for the Freebirds and Road Warriors soon.
Every time I see a line like this that I didn't really know about I kick myself cause I probably passed them over dozens of time in the past.
